edit: ooops... car had body rigidity on from a seasonal event :embarrassed: scrap my splits please will rerun now in a brand new car :dopey:

Glad you mentioned that...I forgot that Rigidity wasn't allowed and I already had it installed before the week started (though only noticed it yesterday when I had to do a chassis restore) and Fetchy has been happily accepting my laps all week so I figured everything was fine...didn't realise he can't check for rigidity. Am surprised it isn't in the event rules each week as a recurring point given new drivers wouldn't know it isn't allowed (much like I'd forgotten but would have realised if it was written in the event info)...just a thought. Guess I'll be buying a new car or just skipping the event..haven't decided yet

Oh no.

I'll have to as well, I didn't realise I've done it after doing the seasonal a few times. I'm over 1000kms in the car so it had to be upgraded (plus, it was cheaper).

EDIT: Just logged on to find that the 2J I used didn't have body rigidity upgrade on. I remember I bought a new one for this event.

Yep..it is always illegal to have chassis rigidity installed for every event. As I said earlier, I'm surprised it isn't in the info at the beginning of every event as, clearly, not everybody knows about this rule
It's going to be bolded, underlined and marked in red from now on lol.

I have no idea how to check if I've added rigidity, so I just bought a new car. How do you know, is your PP too high?

If you do the oil change like you should normally, you will notice one of the options is to Improve Body Rigidity and if you see that installed your car is illegal if you do NOT see that installed your car is legal

I went ahead and submitted my previous time. I'm not sure how on Earth I set the time I did earlier in the week, but I can't seem to come close to that now.

I am allowed to set my nationality to something that isn't my actual nationality, right?

Thanks. Somewhere along the line I got convinced improved body rigidity was useless or worse (like camber) so I've rarely messed with it.

Same here, especially with Group Cs
