Maybe it's just early days and everybody is going to massively improve but, despite submitting the lap to Fetchy and it being accepted, I am confused about how quick my split times are...but, I can't work out what Fetchy may have missed so have to assume they are correct and, if they are, then maybe, just maybe, I might finally have a decent week after months of sub-standard running!!

Excellent combo this week tho it took up all of my credits. I even had to sell my first car ever in GT6 for it :)
I agree that, for a change, the comfort tire choice is an excellent one.
Splits coming up soon. Looks like I am alone or one of a very few from the D3 kindergarten?

Same here. No splits just yet.

Aware that this is really off-topic but I cannot find anything on the planet so here goes.
I am still struggling to properly set up my new G29 wheel for GT6. The feedback feels minimal, almost absent.
I set it up to 'simulation' but feel no difference with the other choices.
Any help would be appreciated 👍

Unless you haven't been using the torque settings (in the driving options) then I've got no ideas. Which wheel did you have before? When I went from a burnt out DFGT to a fresh G27 it felt like there was no FFB because it was so much smoother.

Before I had a burnt out DFGT.

Lovely combo, enjoying jamming the pulp shaving off time. 👍

If it's like the G27 there are only FF torque and FF sensivity to adjust. IIRC sensivity is more for the feel of the tire grip on track, FF torque is for FF effects like rumbling. I have FF sens. on 10 to have the most feeling of the grip and FF torque on 5. For snow and dirt tracks you can tone down the rattling of snow and dirt debris by dialing down FF torque. I guess the settings influence each other, if you dial down FF torque, the effect of FF sensivity gets stronger.

Are you guys changing your wheels and stuff for the realism, speed or just upgrading 'cuz the wheel is too old? I have a DFGT and a T500RS but I've never gone faster with the T500RS due to the FFB being super strong and the static paddle shifts.

I needed a new wheel for the PS4 and to play pCars. But the combo GT6/DFGT felt better than with the G29.

Bit surprised to be near anyone with my hatred for all things 10/40/20

Dunno if I'll improve, but I suspect the quick guys will have something more by the week's end. (I'll spare you my endless rant about the default values GT6 gives to most race cars.)

Yeah my dentist's understeer toothpaste isn't what I need here. Guess I'll have to go find that maple syrup again... damn now I'm hungry.
Also yay typos! (I dunno if editing the post fixes it or not so I'll re-post the splits)

I bought a G29 a few weeks ago seen it on sell when I went to buy a headset, didn't buy the headset but I've one in the post as I write. Anyway I prefer the DFTG pedals could control them more, I like the way the G29 wheel feels unfortunately I couldn't combine the two. sticking with the G29 just to get used to it before buying a ps4 for GT. My advice is stay with what you have unless you have the cash and what to get practing for GT sport, The faster more experienced guys would be able to tell you which wheel is better to buy
