I'll skip the ultra long winded post about perseverance and learning this week and provide the cut down version:

I hate the way it turns, the way it stops, the way it changes gear, the way it pendulums a slide for half a year and pretty soon I'll start to hate the way it sounds. I've tried being aggressive, tried being smooth, tried carrying apex speed, tried getting back to power early, tried letting it slide, tried making it slide, tried to throttle steer and I even tried reverse which was actually pretty nice by comparison but yeah, this car does not want to be driven quickly, it has rejected the very notion of speed at every opportunity, it is simply terrible and I despise everything about it.

Improved some (.044) at the line, was a bit too conservative on the last corner while up a couple car lengths on my ghost. Arggg...this combo is a challenge.

Running -2 BB sector 1 and then switching to +2 for the final corner.

It's a whole new world. This is probably not the best car to start out with; I spent half an hour driving a Suzuki Swift around Miyabi before I tried anything else.

Took almost an week off from trying this, did ten more laps, improved my time slightly and decided to let this one go.

These past three weeks have not been enjoyable for me. Last two weeks were so because of the track and now this is because of the car. As I cannot put the laps down, I'll be back in D4 Silver in no time...

I've seen a 26 and have gone 2 tenths faster in the final sector, but I'm so inconsistent I'll happily settle for being 3 tenths off my optimal. In fact I'll take anything after thinking I was last at the start of the week!

Had another go at this today and I found 2nd gear to be a lot better for me round turn 3 as the car stays more stable and I get a little more speed. I was changing to 3rd before the corner, now I’m shifting to 3rd at the bottom but still can’t figure out the last corner Give it a try it may help some of you guys 👍

This weeks been tough, I loved this combo the first couple of days and was really looking forward to giving it plenty of time. Sadly my little co-driver of many years lost his battle with illness and age this week and I have struggled to find the motivation to even turn on the PS4

It’s amazing how much of an effect an animal can have on your families lives. I hope I can find the time/motivation for one more run. Some amazing split times out there everyone!
