From my experimentation the flat floor does seem worth it. It makes things much easier. I've found setting the downforce to 10 or less works pretty well though when you have the flat floor; I feel the car starts to understeer with too much downforce.

First time doing a WRS event.
I think I can improve on these splits practically everywhere

I like this car, one of the only rear wheel drive cars I've actually enjoyed driving in a while.

EDIT: Whoops, put 12.033 in by accident instead of 1:12.033. I'm not that fast!!!
How do I fix my leaderboard times? Post the splits again?

EDIT 2: Moved splits down here to try and rectify my mistake, sorry!
BTW I use a wheel, how do I get that to show up on the leaderboards?

I might be wrong, but I think you have to install all the allowed tuning parts or fetchy will wag his finger at you when you submit your lap.

You may be, because I remember using standard brakes in some TT where racing brakes were allowed. Flat floors don't even have a "wrong" piece you can pick, as opposed to transmissions or suspensions for example.

I did not install the floor, but didn't submit yet.

I don't think fetchy will be too upset.. if you don't install the flat floor.. but I could be wrong .. normally am..

I have noticed that it really slows you down on long straights.. so removed it..

I still don't understand why you would avoid the flat floor. Yes, the car seems to understeer mid corner a bit but I'm sure I can tune around it.
I will try to run the car without the flat floor but I think the highspeed section before the top of the hill will be better with downforce.

I just ran for 105 miles and I got to 1'47.7xx which seems a long way off the pace, but don't see much more potential improvement areas, so I'm at a loss. :/

Brake early, turn in for a little later apex, power right where the mini hill thing starts at the apex.

We have decided to allow both Flat floors and also removal of flat floors. Fetchy should accept either, but I'll test for sure in a few hours.

The climb back down the mountain needs a lot of work as does the long 2nd and 3rd corner of T2.

Yeah, you're right. He must not be able to handle us hoodlums in D1.

@JoostBaksteen can you check on Fetchy? I probably broke him with the different green/red/black flags earlier.

Heh, just shaved 4 tenths.
Full 1 second since yesterday but there is still a lot of time to be found.
I'll post my splits when Fetchy stops ignoring us.
Let's just say I'm currently faster than @Gravitron
I'm sure that won't last long.
