Fair shake of the dead datsun's donger...
Strewth! This flamin' sheila is a galah!!!

21.850
1'11.734
1'48.900

I don't know if it's @Cats_PJs tune, the track or the car but this whole combo is just the right amount of crazy...I'm loving it 👍 I hope to give it a decent run (not least of all to help represent 'Straaaalya!) but I'm not envisioning a lot of seat time this week...we'll see, I really like this combo 👍👍👍

First splits

22.000
1:12.000
1:48.833

I'm not great here so it's about time I learned the track properly. Lots of time to find everywhere but I can see me having trouble hooking up a perfect lap... Thanks @Cats_PJs for the tune, it feels great. I haven't tried taking off the flat floor or lowering df yet.

Only one setup? Anyone got anything that doesn't understeer at the start and end of the lap? I managed to get a t1 of .771 but I've never repeated it, still zero clue how to do low 7s I'm braking as early as possible to straight line the corner but I have to wait so long to either accelerate due to slight oversteer, or, wait for it to stop under steering towards the kerb.

Edit: just to clarify, I'm using baron's setup and grateful for it, just struggling in those areas. Don't mean to sound quite so ungrateful

Finally got a banker..... 250 miles in!

21.858
1'11.024
1'46.908

First 30 seconds of this lap was average, but pretty much consistent with what I've been getting, rest was bueno I gained 1.003 from whenever it was I first ran. o_O

I think it will be very difficult to get a setup that works in all 4 sectors. I tried to dial out some of the understeer but then the car became undriveable at the top of the hill.

this is my first tunned car :-) (so i'm totally without experiences with setup) and first 200km with this car on this astonishing circuit.. i love it.

so my splits:

21.899
1'11.066
1'47.149

i left there few tenths in each sector so i'll see if some changes on setup will helps

:dunce: my first splits were pre oil change haha

Annoyingly every decent lap I put in starts with a bad t1. I could get into the 46s with my best sectors, just need to find some consistency.

MmmHmm.

@millross, if I were you, I'd try maxing out the front and rear camber.

Tehehe.

If you have problems with the first corner, don't underestimate the last corner. That last corner is pretty similar as the first.

I think almost the whole track is as though as those 2 corners. A couple of tenths can easily be lost all over the track

Instaled all available parts but my car has only 487 PP. Shouldnt it be 511?

Flat Floor!

MmmHmm.

Don't believe him

I'm a bit scared to post my spilts. Cos the real demon aliens didn't arrived yet :nervous:
But here they are

Like i said a couple of tenths can easily be lost all over the track, so i did in T3 :ouch:

Saw a .5xx in T1 a few times. Ok it where high .5xx but i saw them

21.644
1'10.461
1'46.411

Really fun combo. Me like a lot. Want to go much faster, but it's so hard

EDIT WOW i have 2 purples. Quick pictures

Losing big time in sector 3, not sure of the lines through there yet, still working on it. Very fun but frustrating combo

Thanks for taking away 1 purple from me, mate. 👍 T1

Thanks :) Im sure you'll make you T1 stick throughout the whole lap. As for me I just have to find out where Im losing out so much time the rest of the lap.

Nearly a second at the line.

21.750
1'11.167
1'47.617

My two fastest laps tonight are within 0.05 of each other. The datalogger shows that I was nearly a second up just before sector 2. If I could nail even half of that, I could get into the 1 second club.

If I could ever get that turn 1 figured out and get a consistent lap,...

22.184
1:13.084
1:51.167

I'll try softening @Cats_PJs setup some; the car seemed to be a bit too nervous in the replay.

I did that when I was still learning the track but went back to the stiffer springs and it was faster.

If you turn on the driving line the part where it turns red for turn 1 is a perfect brake marker. Brake hard just as the front of the car reaches the red, downshifting, and then get off the brakes pretty quickly (ie no trail braking).

Of course, I'm going to turn the driving line off for the rest of my sessions, but I had it on for the first few days. :dunce:

I brake at the last blue one before it turns red. I carry more speed through the corner and that means my 700 is faster than yours.

I need my own :win: icon.

I set the time for noon and then use the shadows of the telephone poles. The braking point (for me) is right in the middle of the third and fourth (I think). I saw .726 once.

It's not the braking point, it's everything else about the turn, especially where to pick up the throttle. :dunce:

New splits before the sound glitching and my utter inconsistency became too much:

21.933
1:12.866
1:50.466

I've had a few 1:49s but I tossed all those laps in the last sector.

21.883
1'11.663
1'47.916

Had a .4 faster lap but touched the wall :(

It will happen, just not today.

Loving this combo:

21.877
1:11.911
1:48.277

Sector 1 and 3 are okay but 2 and 4 are a bit meh...would like another 0.5...we'll see 👍

[EDIT]
Uuuuurgh...just got the following from Fetchy:
WRSFetchBot
Submission for week 16 is REJECTED!

Errors:
GripReduction setting is invalid...
I'll hopefully get one last go tomorrow afternoon.
