1'11.734
1'48.900

Going to have a red hot crack tomorrow at this, Bathurst is the track I grew up around, I could drive it in my sleep, I just hope I can get good speed our of the car!
As well as that, is it quicker to run flat floor or no flat floor, and full downforce or no downforce?

21.779
1'11.200
1'46.936

Don't think I'll ever match that T3 again...
Baron's tune works like a charm.. Thanks!

Splits from Tuesday, been too busy working to give this a proper go again:

21.750
1'10.967
1'46.667

Terrible final sector, if I recall :indiff:

It appears I'm going to pay for neglecting this track during these 4 (sic) months. I have still to try without HUD, which could work ok because the car has a good gear indicator.

PB T1 is twentytwo flat, would be nice to get a similar figure in.

Getting close to my target time now, there's still tenths to find if I could hook everything up.

21.850
1:11.000
1:47.067

Finally got into the 1:49s and made it stick - even with an ugly-looking S4, I made even more ground on the previous ghost at the end.

22.017
1:12.417
1:49.750

Changes from @Cats_PJs' tune:

Springs 8.55/10.50
Dampers (Extension) 6/6
Anti-Roll Bars 4/4
Brake bias 4/4 (with the standard brakes; racing brakes lock up way too easily to drive with ABS 0, even with bias at 1/1)
Downforce 10 (ripped that off from @Ettick as I took the flat floor option)

It still understeers like a 1979 Chevrolet Caprice Classic wagon...until the back end hooks up, and then it wants to do on-throttle oversteer.

I could probably find close to a half-second with the Golden BB lap, but I've already put more time into this than I should.

To fight understeer you could go wilder with the rear toe out. But you are risking a lot of black flags right around 1'14 mark :)
Initiating the turn sharply right as you take your foot off the brake also helps the car to rotate.

You mean that nasty left called The Dipper? I'll keep the toe out where it is.

First splits, haven't had too much time this week but think I have sectors 1 and 3,the Middle part is tricky
21.833
1.12.104
1.48.904

using @Cat_Pjs tune. thanks!

21.783
1'10.733
1'46.667

Lost time in the last sector only gained a tenth on my previous lap

You're driving right on top of me, yikes

Except your splits are probably rounded, mine are exact values from the ghost :P

Made up time in t1, lost it all in t2 and got it back again by t3 lol

21.817
1:11.033
1:46.917

Setting the clock at 5:30 seems to get rid of the graphical glitches for me.

That sounds familiar. Most of my few "good" laps followed the make up time/lose time pattern. My Golden Bronze BB lap was way slow in S1 (had seen as good as 21.8 there), wicked-fast (for me) in S2, and "merely" slow compared to everybody else in S3 (and I suspect S4). In any case, it is in Fetchy's capable hands just in case I don't get back to this.

My glitching seems to be a heat-related issue with the PS3 Slim. As the hours click on at Bathurst (and only Bathurst), things start glitching and don't stop until after I quit GT6 entirely.

Maybe I should turn ABS on. Nah - I've done every GT6 time trial I've been a part of without it, including the beast FXX at Monza.

A few people have said they'd like the car to push a bit less going into corners. I would try lowering the decel to 5 or putting in more rear brake.

My favorite way to adjust corner entry and exit is with the camber settings, but... well, you know.

Braking early also works ;) if you brake late it will understeer

BTW forgot to thank you for the tune 👍 its awesome

I've always been terrible at making my own suspension modifications in gt6 so I'm grateful for the tune. I like how everyone is so helpful even though we're competing against each other 👍

:gtpflag:

Yeah thanks Baron @Cats_PJs for the tune. I really have no clue of tuning. And i'm not a fan of WRS weeks when tuning is allowed. I prefer not to participate but when it's an awesome combo i take the tuning for granted and hope a good tune will be posted. This week is a bonus because everybody more or less uses the same tune. In other words this is a really awesome combo. Thanks @Sjaak 👍

I want another go! The 1'46.2 club looks like fun!

Wait till the 45 shows up

A little slower in t3, but half a second faster overall. Did see a 1'10.8**, but choked at the awkward downhill left before the hairpin. Never mind.

21.749
1'11.165
1'47.632

Meant to say thanks for the tune @Cats_PJs
