Home ground advantage! Ever since I can remember, every October I have watched the V8's at Bathurst. 30+ years..

Just ran a 550 first split, tapped a wall near the top of the hill though :(

Did a 532 split then didn't remember my way around the track and hit the wall coming down the two quick left handers. Nerves :scared:
 
Yes, flat floor, aero kit type B, custom wing (EDD -5(h) -7(w)), wheels - inch up OZwave

So thats possitive (toe in +0.06) in the back, right? I'll give it a shot, it might be easier to keep pointed down the hill in s3.

About the breaking point of the first corner. There are shadows on the straight from the lamp posts. Break just after the 3th last one. I have the time on default 10:30 i believe it is.
 
Now threw away a .464 sector 1 :banghead:

Really nice but don't focus to much on T1 mate. Only one corner there is so much more to gain or lose in the rest of the track and there is about 2 minutes left that you have to go. Of course it's a nice bonus if you hit such a T1.

I'm not focusing much on it, I even didn't panic much cause I knew I would mess it up somewhere along the lap. But it would be awesome to make it stick.

Cheers. Not sure where it's come from. Really enjoying this combo, and know the track very well.

I think the first tight left up the hill is the most crucial corner. After that it's pretty much full throttle all the way up to 2nd split. Braking and downshifts just after the 2nd split, if you time the downshifts right she seems to follow the right line.

Corner leading onto conrod straight, if you nail this one you can gain about 0.3 by the 3rd split

Thanks for the tips, I did have one ghost that nailed that left and I haven't did it the same since. I also feel like I need to lift slightly on the final to lefts in s2. Maybe I'm being too cautious... Still got a couple of days to work on it.

If joy would pay off in gain time, why doesn't i gain time :( :lol:

Don't forget that last corner of T2, that could cost you dearly as well

The longer the straight the more important the exit of the corner that lead to that straight. Last corner is Fuji is an other great example (btw mods, when are tracks like Fuji will be

Are you really start breaking after the T2 spilt. Would swear that is impossible, But i will give it a shot. The time i lose in T2 will probably that part.

Brake right on the split. Drop down to 4th just after.
