Had a slower T1 and T2 but nailed T3 (inches from being dirty I must say  )

but gained just a little on the line, I'll probably submit later today (going on holiday) My perfect lab is 2-3 tenth faster than the one I have so maybe I'll give it one more go.

Hopefully will get a D2 Top five but looks to be very close.

@mike_gt3

Those are some crazy fast second sectors you've posted! Can't wait to see the replays as I, once again, seem to have a thing or two to learn.

Now I'm very disappointed at my friends because they forced me to leave my apartment and go out and have "a couple" drinks with them, which eventually led into a rather severe hangover, so probably not going to chase my ghost today.

Fantastic splits Mike! I haven't run this since Tuesday (I think?)... busy busy week. Free weekend though and I'm hunting you down mate. :mischievous:

My apologies if I missed any questions/complaints/insults this week guys. If you wish to quiz me or hurl abuse, now's your chance. 👍

Finally getting somewhere.... changed my approach, and it worked, now I can see more time to find on track...

Want to rerun because slow t3 and close to being illegal in one of the chicanes, wouldn't want to give the verifying headache.

Quite frustrating, no idea where to brake for the second chicane, any help on reference points??

Coming round the curve approaching the bridge, there are shadows from the trees on the right hand side of the track. There are 3 'big' shadows, followed by a smaller one, followed by the 200 metre board. Break between the smaller shadow and the 200 metre board - at least that's what I do. This may not be the fastest but it makes me consistent through that chicane every lap - I rarely get it wrong:)

Oh and also I find leaving it in 5th down the s/f straight helps make it more stable with engine breaking etc and consistent through the first chicane.

Having said all that I still haven't been able to go more than 10 laps without oversteering it into a barrier :guilty:

New splits, a much slower 1st sector, exactly the same 2nd sector, and much faster 3rd result, the result is a small improvement at the finish line.

Submitted with the splits on the board 👍

Good Luck everyone, its going to be a close T3 finish for ALL Divisions

Will probably submit the slower lap, feel my fastest would be a headache to check aswell.

Tip for T1, Find a braking point (mine is a shadow next to the orange barrier bit)and turn in while slightly braking in the corner (engine brake slightly aswell) the exit out of the chicane is tough but it's ok if you get a little wheel spin just get on the gas as soon as you can, the video posted on the first page is really fantastic to help you out.

This might be it for me. I'm missing about .14 in t1 but the rest of the lap is as good as I've run it.

Gained. 355 over previously posted lap.

For the second chicane I brake right as the 200 marker is going off the screen. That's using bb 8/8.

Bit of an improvement over my first run, made up some ground in T1, but gradually lost the tenths I'd made up
over the lap, but the overall time was still better than the previous effort. Car looked a wreck on the replay after many barrier slams

Cheers,

Chris

So does moving the BB up help you slow down quicker? I know if I wait for the 200 marker to go by I can't stop in time. I have ABS set to 1.

Was able to get a session in this morning. Hopefully I'll be able to run another one before the deadline

Bad T2, but best T3 yet. Finaly getting T1,so the restart button is not my most used input for this TT.

Ya, the higher bb will stop the car sooner as long as the wheels don't lock, which isn't really a problem with this car.

I always run abs at 1.

Thanks for tips but I've got to the point of smashing things with hammers, mentally, so I can't even complete a lap anymore.....

Hopefully I'll get another go and get a submission in on Monday.... :banghead:
