GTP_WRS Week 23 : Art Morrison Corvette @ High Speed Ring Reverse

Question: TLD's tune for the Corvette says S3/+4/85%, while the race specifics say R3 tyres are to be used. How should I interprete this?

Look again now. The tune you were looking at was for 650 PP HSR online racing, my tune for this WRS has until now only been in the first post of this thread. I've now edited in my tune for this event in TLD as well.👍

So far, TLD has been the best for me. Tried BH, had to go with the TLD gearing, because the original gearing from BH didn't work. Struggling to be consistent still.

Struggeling this week for some reason just can't seem to get any speed down at all. TLD tune has been best for me thus far other tunes were coming out slower still

Noticed all the tunes are 6 speed, I found a 5 speed to be quicker, using all the torque.
Maybe it's just me and the way I do it.

For gear ratios, 4th goes up to about 1.180 iirc.

I have dropped CONSIDERABLE pace today with a new driving style I never thought would work on any front engined V8 let alone the Art Morrison. I think it also has something to do with my tune though and I'm just now exploring its potential.

Using a slightly modified TLD tune, changed Dampers and toe.👍 A 7 for me is possible I think.

Cheers mate 👍, I can't believe I'm running toe to toe with you this week, normally you're faster. I haven't been doing so well since the Viper at Fuji.........💡, must be me and muscle cars. I bet you'll still beat me in the end though.

Edit: At the moment TLD is in front by a nose. I've gotta be the go-to guy for muscle cars right?

I just tried my first laps on this combo (I just got a new gaming PC this week, which required all my attention) and it was not very succesfull (being tipsy doesn't help, nor advising my 75y/o neighbour to elope to her 85y/o friend in Australia, while dumping the father of all her children overhere (a grumpy old bastard). Anyway, I used DC's tuning, and it feels good, but no clean session so far. I hope to get a bit more racing time this weekend.

I like using the 5 speed also.

Just finished a couple of hours on this one and am I pleased with the result.
Put all 3 of my best (fastest) laps into the same race and there are plenty of mistakes.
So more time to be had.

Besides the 5 speed tranny I'm using a combo of TLD's tune with different toe settings. (- .15/ + .05) and different brake setting (4/6).
I have a difficult time with RWD in general so rear toe setting for me need to be low.
I find it works better for my early off driving, which in Prologue kills me.
With GT4 getting off the corners early was easy. It's not so easy anymore
