Again only marginal improvements for the splits but another .3 at the line.

31.307
57.675
1'14.667

Most likely submitting this lap.

Good luck to all.

This is going to be close for D3. I'm not the most confident on my bus stop. Hmm...

Great participation this week, for a AWD.

Daytona Road is not overly difficult, but very technical to get the most out of it.

2 seconds covering the whole field, about 1 second covering the top 20 drivers, very competitive.

How did I lose 0.3sec on a WOT straight?

I know I'm not racing right now and may be sticking the honker where it don't belong but this is something that took me a while to get right...........

It's all in the exit speed :D

No time for a last attempt this weekend......had to submit with the current splits:scared:.....I think I'm too cautious on the entry to the bus stop.

Coming close to just submitting with my best splits and throwing the towel in on this one. Too much of it depends on a fluked bus stop and I'm having a hard time beating the bus stop on my best lap. Even though numerous times I've been up on it, 30.9s in T1 a few times, 1'14.0s a few times....bleh, really thought I had a shot at winning D2 this week.

The competition has been awesome though, a massive credit to the quality of the drivers in WRS

I'll give it one more go on Monday, then it's James Bond WRS for me.

All the best
Maz

Maz you do have a shot still, only a tenth off, with a speed section ,that a couple of k's in the braking would be enough by the time you hit the line.
I was slow in, fast out I feel, so who knows mate.
Good Luck:tup:

Almost all work for the board update has been done by Haitham but he didn't post it so I will. Tonight we'll jointly build the board for week 26 so that he'll be an allround updaterer in no time

Luxy linkage is division sorted this time.

Thoroughly enjoyed this week's combo - maybe even the best to me so far tho I didn't quite like the track as I do now
Good luck to all still trying to improve 👍

I might try and have one more run. I'm a small margin behind Stotty at T3(0.048). So i'd like to try and get ahead of him.:D

Gave this one another 2 hours tonight and didn't improve my splits, but managed to improve my overall time significantly. The bus stop is critical to
a quick lap, obviously. Time submitted.

Gave this a go yesterday and splits from my current best lap are:

T1 31.303
T2 57.778
T3 1'14.786

Sofar seen T1 of 30.0xx ONCE and plenty of T2 57.4-6's and T3 1'14.3-4's

Only the Bus\_/Stop holding me back.

Time submitted. :)
Might have been some room for improvement, but I've been busy practicing for the RoC and haven't had time to have another go this weekend.

Right, still not convinced I'm as quick as I can be through the bus stop, got abotu another half an hour with this or so. Improved by about fifteen tenths at the line with these splits.

31.274
57.627
1'14.599

Submitted with the above splits.

Into the DB9!

Submitted, done far too many laps of this track now

All the best

This one was quite a challenge. Found it very hard to reproduce the first corner section and the busstop - But I stopped with a time I'm fairly happy with :)

T1 0'31.255
T2 0'57.760
T3 1'14.875
+ what I would consider a perfect bustop 👍

Submitted with splits on post #167.

Couldn't reproduce my best splits today.. after all enought is enought. :scared:

Right, still not convinced I'm as quick as I can be through the bus stop,

1'14.599

It's going to be close I imagine.
And doesn't this track feel a lot better with a wheel?

The fastest speed at t4 that I read is 120mph/193kph.

I worked hard on the entrance and exit of the "dreaded" bus stop over the weekend and improved my lap time (mostly through the bus stop) by almost 9/10's, so with the 2 comments above I hope it's enough. Though I think my speed at t4 is 115mph.

Time was submitted this AM so here's to you two  and may the best man win.

Sjaak, I really enjoyed this combo and even got to race online with a whole GTP field, though they were in the Lancia. :indiff:

! I'm sure it feels better with a wheel - I drive like a drunken monkey up and down on the oval part!

... Ouch, that's fast at T4 - I know I didn't go that fast at T4, don't have to check my replay me thinks - My bus stop just seemed fast in my slow little world :sly:

Can't wait to see the results :nervous: Good luck!

Long time lurker(to the WRS), first time racer. :D I couldn't let this round go by with one of my favorite tracks and cars on the schedule. ;)

My splits...

T1: 32.351
T2: 59.770
T3: 1'16.963
Anyone here besides me felt a little gutsy and tried to go through the Bus Stop without going below 4th gear?

I've done a couple of runs through the bus stop in 4th, can't remember if it was faster, I'll have to watch the replay for my submitted time again to see if I used 4th in my hot lap.
