I watched it a few times to double check your curb usage, but it was pretty much spot on and not that close, just smooth stuff without any drama or oversteer. Fast right/left was the highlight for me, I don't think you dipped under 139mph. I had no idea you could do that, I was cruising through at 130 at best.

No congrats to me because I really sucked. I love this track but I really hated the car, never had the skill to control it really. I salute Jack for achieving the time he did with a DS3 and no assists - very well done.

Edit: Im making some headway. I do believe I now have Digital Bakas replay on my Ps3. Ill be darned if I can find his replay in the replay theater tho. I have run out of time. I will try again later.

When you are in replay theater, there is a "button" in the lower left area that is used to Import the replays into your game save. Just like you have to export your own replays, the replays of others have to be imported.

This is definitely my best week so far, really excited to place so well! I think a big part of it is that I managed to get really really close to my best theoretical lap; if I add up my best sectors there's only a 0.08 difference (even though none of the sectors in this lap where PBs). I'm also starting to think there's just something about Super GT that suits me, my three best weeks have been this, the Asparadrink and the Takata NSX.

Chris, I had a look at your youtube video and although it's a bit hard to convert everything to km/h as I watch, I think I can spot two things that kept you from .7 T1s. First I think is your gearing, I see you crossing the line at 168 and topping out at 176 just before the uphill, I had 273(169.6) and 286(177.7) pretty much every time. Then in the fast right/left I lift off earlier than you, but only to about 60% and get back on at slightly higher speed. I think those two things combined add up to about 1 tenth. Probably didn't help that you hit the curb on the left on that particular lap either . Your T2 is much cleaner though, I missed the apexes on the first left-left but was never able to go much faster even when I hit the first part better.

edit: Also if I may: I'd like to award a medal for Twissy's drift in the left between the tunnels in T2, that was totally badass!

The flags are all in the bottom of the first post. If you right-click on the green and select "Copy image location", it will allow you to paste "http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/5458/user118395pic1573412914.gif" into the popup box for inserting an image.

In addtion to the things you checked, on weeks like this it's good to verify that you don't see a turbo meter in the bottom right of the screen. It would show up there if they had bought one and equipped it, but we weren't allowed this week.

Still not sure how to check for SRF, though.

I can see that only 1 or 2 hours each week is not enough seat time to be competitive, but I still compete for the comparison against others and fun of it.

Best to watch to see who misses the combos with SRF turned off (week 26) and/or compare placement if everyone competes week after week to see who drops down in the results.
This is why I find it important to be here every week.
I actually think the SRF combos are thrown in to throw off any person using SRF, but who knows!

SRF doesn't show up on the replay with an indicator, or anything to that effect. But there are some things we are aware of that we can look for if we suspect someone of using it. I intentionally don't talk about those, because I don't necessarily want someone who wants to cheat to know what we are looking for.

It's of course forced off for the qualifier, and has been on quite a few of the event weeks as well. So that's also data we can use as well.

First and last splits after running this combo for almost an hour today.
The car felt weird so I'll be back in it to understand it's behavior better.

I used the instructions in the OP but when I get to no. 10 I don't have the option to send to Compressed (Zipped) Folder and I've no idea what I'm doing!

Also, I've sent a PM to Vaxen last week to change my name on the Registry but he hasn't got back to me, I presume he's away, so my username in the replay will be slightly different to what is on the Registry at the moment.

You need to Zip the file on your PC. If you don't have one of the newer versions of windows, this may require that you install a 3rd party program. There are several "Freeware" versions of Zip software, such as 7Zip or JZip.

GTP_unkymo... not sure. I wasn't able to read your replay, mostly because I'm guessing you are a PAL replay. Just add a signature to your profile and include your region (NTSC or PAL) in your signature so we'll all know.
The folder structure in the zip file seemed off as well. When you zip the file, Just right click on the "PS3" folder in your flashdrive, and zip that, and all of it's contents (I think you zipped the folder a few stages down).
BTW - Welcome to the WRS. 👍 I'm new myself, and loving it!

Consider it an "improvement" scale while at the same time an "outstanding performances" scale.
The higher you are in handicapped results, the better you did than normal.

There have been combos where it is allowed? I've never actually noticed. I've always assumed that it is never allowed and just keep it off all the time. You are right though, it does make it feel wrong somehow driving anything with it on.

Separate note, the pressboard doesn't seem to be updating the flagged times. Nobody has a check mark yet that has been green flagged, at least when I checked a few minutes ago.
