Pedals have been clean thoroughly, did a few laps and was over a second faster round the track so very pleased with myself and I know there’s more I can get out the car. Just going to post these splits for now and get back on it tomorrow 👍 big thanks to Phillip @dranddad for the encouragement.

Raising the bar I see. It is a long holiday weekend for me, I am hoping to get a long session in this weekend, maybe I can close the gap. I only did 15 laps last night, and even though my new optimal improved .2 my best lap did not. All my best laps for this event have come in laps 25 or higher. Takes me a long time to get all sectors correct on the same lap. . I am able to be close to my fastest times in S1 and S2 right away but S3 and S4 are hit or miss each and every lap.

I know the feeling mate, it took me about 7-8 restarts to get through the chicane at the start this morning

I hear ya, has happened to me many many times..........

I know the feeling mate, it took me about 7-8 restarts to get through the chicane at the start this morning

I just use the next lap as a practice lap when I screw up the chicane.

Get even a millimetre off line and you're putting just a little too much lock on for the throttle you have and woosh, round goes the back end. It's like the modern version of that Ferrari 512.
