tiny improvement made, lost half a tenth in sector 1 a tenth in sector 2 and a tenth in sector 3 tried to find it but kept losing it in that chicane, the car gets too unsettled there especially when you have good splits

Regarding my earlier statement that I've probably made a tactical error by running higher DF than the field....

....make that definitely a tactical error on my part. I did 12 laps with Lloyd's tune and came within 1/100th of my best time while still searching for the right brake points. Even saw a sub 20.4 first sector...that involved a bit of a slide around the turn which I probably can't hit consistently but 20.5s are well within my wheelhouse. Looks like I'll be putting some more time into this one...this is my weekly reminder that the right time to give up on a TT is about 11.58 GMT Monday night.

Pretty much done with this one.
Have tried runnin with higher DF,ran a couple of .3's on T2,but losin it all in T3.
One last try tomorrow.

Where people spend countless hours on end... To improve their time by 0.001's of a second :)
I will tell a broader story in an upcoming Steward's comments. But I once had a combo that I was trying to get over a second barrier for on GT4. I returned from a LAN weekend, and the deadline was on Tuesday at the time. I stayed up 2 hours past my bedtime on Monday night to gain probably 0.030, or something like that.

Well I can't spend endless hours like the good old days so I have submitted my lap from earlier in the week, I tried a quick session against my save but couldn't get the car faster to T1 so just gave up and settled for the save I have :irked:
I'm feeling slower than I normally am at Fuji and the leaderboard times totally confirm my suspicions :P Anyway I'll be back in a future event to try again ;)

Congrats to the guys at the top of the splits board and good luck to all in the results đź‘Ť

No tuning for next week. (And a rally car). :mischievous:

Finally a decent session but had to cut it short unfortunately as I'm heading out. Gonna take a shot at the next 1 sometime tomorrow and see what I get.

Probably not as good as yours. I had better with worse splits.

I wouldn't bet on it. I worked my butt off and actually turned my best T3 time with these splits, but you know my track record:ill:. I just hope for negative handicaps anymore:D!

Turned much better splits with Lloyds tune, but just couldn't get it fast through T3. A combo of yours and Sut's suited me much better. Thanks.

Decided to give Lloyds setup a few more laps to see if I could tame it in T3. I really couldn't, but beat my previous time by eighteen hundreths (.018). It's quicker so I'll post it and submit it and call it a contest. Sleep beckons and have to work in the AM.

Splits:

20.484
50.450

Good luck all.

Submitted, wish I could give it a go one more time tomorrow as I had quite a few 50 6s but could not stay ahead of the lap submitted in T3.

20.549

My submission was just rejected.

Edit- nevermind I got it accepted. :dunce:

My submission was just rejected. Fetchy said:

You used the wrong car

You ran at the wrong track
Tire Front setting is invalid
Tire Rear setting is invalid
Suspension Kit setting is invalid

Mods I need help please. :)
Did you use the wrong thread to submit to fetchy. As in submitting this weeks cars time to next weeks competition or vice versa. Been there done that
