Thanks for the tips Mike, do you mind sharing your gear selection for the Pirelli through Wurth section? I can't seem to get the power down very often without loosing the rear of the car.

I'm finding this combo to be very Jekyll & Hyde on any given lap.

RBR Map.png

Pirelli - Approach in 5th and down to 4 for the turn in then down to 3rd slightly before the apex then hard on the gas and then back up to 4th

Wurth - approach and start turn in in 4th and just before the apex down to 3rd

You will need to feed the power in smoothly else you will rotate the car very easily

Hope that helps

Thanks @Argon, I will work on doing this. Currently I seem to be using 3 or 4 different methods depending on how the car is behaving and to what extent I've missed an apex with the focus of staying on the track and and within track boundaries.

Updated splits

37.527

I would swear my 2nd sector times are coming from a random number generator.

20.712

As tricky as turn 3 can be it may not be the culprit of my woes in the 2nd sector after all, starting to think its the 4th turn. I tried to do the "circuit experience" for the Red Bull Ring to focus on sector 2 but just my luck there is not one.

First practice.

Nice opener's Joe, I know I've already welcomed you but welcome to the TT's and again please ask question and also for advice on how to tackle the track. You can discuss any sector but all we ask is that you never disclose anything related to time for your last sector. We also have no problem if you double or triple post here
