Got all excited when I saw that triple mix was back but super bummed out that tuning is prohibited.
Ran some laps just to see how new RBR was and feel out the combo but I just can't get on board the stock settings when these cars feel so good tuned. Ran about 40 laps in the end and got some neat splits.
20.611

Not sure how you guys are hitting 20.5s in S1, but I did rather enjoy getting the car to the apex to get back to the power earlier in the 2nd sector. 3rd sector is just hang on for dear life which is about how it felt in GT6, so good that it kept that feeling. Pretty sure the mega S2 split came about by braking slightly late into turn 6 but otherwise I had fairly representative times in that sector before I got this one to come together.
Have fun all, really challenging combo to get a perfect lap with the car on these settings but I suspect it would turn out to be one of those super rewarding ones when you hook up a monster lap.

I can’t seem to get under 21 in S1. Practiced for about an hour and a half yesterday. Just can’t get consistent.

Nice splits @StigsTC !

I had another session this morning. I saw 20.4 / 36.7 but binned it in the last sector :(.

However I did find more time in the last sector and this lap is .2 faster than the one I posted earlier.

Realistically I have left about .3 out there but its very hard to nail the lap.

👍

Finally made some splits I feel good about:

20.976
37.333

Think this is as good as I'll get it after 8 consecutive laps today. Car feels like it just bogs down trying to accelerate out of turn 2.

Had to have another go due to being so competitive out of the box and boy was that a mistake. Wasted a lot of time, improved best splits but didn't move the total time or get the lap I should have.
20.478
36.882

Had been seeing .7s regularly and a couple of .6s in sector 2 but didn't get the exit out of turn 2 and gave up a pile of time there.
Have to settle for top 3 with that, don't think my last sector will hang on after giving away so much time in sector 2. Could have been an absolute gem.

So I decided I wasn't happy with settling.
So I went back to try and improve.
I did, but I'm still settling. Can't get 3 sectors to play ball together. Just braked too early into T1 and gave up time there instead of everywhere else.

The amusing part is that the first splits I posted actually are the best time to S2 of the three times I've posted. Anyone know where I can buy an optimal lap time?
Definitely done this time as I'm now trading hours of sleep instead of minutes.

Not a great session tonight, found the missing tenths I knew I had lost on my posted lap and convinced it was a good lap I cleaned up all my old replays including the one for the board splits only to subsequently find on the new replay that I was off track by mm's and missed it on the first view.

Taking myself off the board, good luck everyone 👍
