Was busy on other stuff and did not notice the WRS for this week:dunce:

SCR were cutting loose with the M3 last night and that's when the 'penny dropped'

So late start to this event....

T1 - 22.360
T2 - 56.998

Thanks.

Took me a good few hours tonight to get that. After i had saved the replay, i grabbed a glass of wine, turned the ghost off and had another few relaxed laps. On the 3rd lap i had a T1 of 22.188 and a T2 of 56.695. I then had a brain fart and spun exiting the hairpin lmao.

Matt.

Wine is the secret!

Late start but great laps straight up.👍

After much (okay, lots) of swearing and about 30 laps this afternoon, I've got:

22.405
57.493

Much swearing was due to a period of 5 laps of successive, 22.250/57.150 laps, with constant failings in T3.

I'll get that lap, but I will also get Tourette's at the same time.

Here are my splits so far. Since yesterday I'm happy owner of a G25. Wheel Stand Pro is still on it's way so I'm using an iron board at the moment :P. I think I will need allot of time before I"ll get used to driving with a wheel :scared:

Anyway:

T1: 22.712
T2: 59.137

Traction control at two and no tuning.

Tip 1) Turn TC off.
Tip 2) Use Paulie's tune and adjust the PP so it's correct.

Submitted with my current leaderboard splits.
I'm not going to have a chance at another go, enjoying GTPSP too much.

My splits are gently getting worse, while my overall laptime creeps up by a few thousandths at a time. Very unhappy combo for me so far, another hour or so and it might be time to submit :(

EDIT: Having said that....

T1: 22.188
T2: 56.757

EDIT: 22.137 / 56.683 ruined nnnooooooooooooooo!!!!! :ouch:

All the best
Maz

T1. 22.420 22.263
t2. 57.208 56.892

Great time CT 👍 I told you should take part in WRS and try and get a promotion...NO WAY do you belong in D3

Thanks for the tune Maz...I spent about 20 minutes with it and came within .030 of my best at the line. It definitely feels better and more consistant through the last sector, although I'm still trying to find some consistancy in the first and second sectors, as I had to change my driving style a bit upon entry for turn 2 & 4. Hopefully when I jump back on I'll be able to hit my target times and call it a wrap for this combo

New times from me:

22.511
57.192

Worse T1 but better T2 and much better at the line. Will give it one more go tomorrow night and then submit.

Good luck to those still trying to squeeze out more time from this very difficult WRS. 👍

Haven't had any more time for another crack so I'm submitting with my current splits. Good luck to all.

Board updated.

Welcome back Andy 👍

I'll get that lap, but I will also get Tourette's at the same time.
Then better take those pills or the mods will ban you from the Planet :D

First posted splits, reasonably happy but know there is a few more tenths I can lose, just not sure if I'll have anymore time this week :(

T1 - 22.701
T2 - 58.233

Edit: Managed slightly quicker, submitting with the following splits to allow some time at my home event!!

T1 - 22.467
T2 - 57.782

New splits:

T1: 22.234
T2: 56.662

It's amazing how the track just gives more and more speed and sometimes I have no idea where it comes from. Managed a T1 of 22.125 now! As usual, you see a T1 like that and lose track of braking point for turn 2...

All the best

Nice improvements Maz 👍 I'm with you on that statement...sometimes I feel like the grip of the track varies quite drastically (ESPECIALLY at T1)...but it must just be my mind playing tricks on me 💡 :dopey:

Edit: One more go for me once I sober up, then I'm throwing the hatchet at this combo

Very nice Maz. You worked hard at it last night and it paid off 👍

Have no energy left on this one even though I know there is more time out there - time submitted and moving on. Good Luck!

Cheers!

Alright, gloves off before I have a stroke and rip my wheel off its stand :banghead:

I'm quite amazed how all week I lacked pace and consistancy through turn 1, yet was probably as quick as anyone through the last two sectors. My lack of pace through T1 is probably what will cost me the overall win in the end...just hope I can make the podium at least :ill: I really think I ended up spending too much time on this combo, which in some ways can hurt your performance, especially if you get quite frustrated along the way :scared: Judging by my best split times I theoretically could have gone up 2 tenths at the line, so I'm a bit dissapointed to not even be able to snag a tenth at least.

Anyways, I'll submit my replay in a few. I think it's time I moved on from this one, regardless if I succeeded in hitting my goal or not...it's just not worth the frustration at this point.

 D2 is fine but D1 thats a hell no

You're running very quickly, we'll see. You may be in D2 for a little while, but D1 could easily be up your alley.👍 Hell, if they were considering me for D1 when I'm never faster than any of them and you're faster than me.....:scared:

It's for that reason I never look at my T1 while racing at Fuji, I just accept blue or red splits.

The whole of Div 2, seven racers, are inside of 39/100 at T2.

Had a long session yesterday and while I was up on my T2 split several times and once had a T1 of 22.0XX, I never managed to put a good last sector together. Feels like the twisty bits from my best time is about about as good as it gets for me.

Great first split! I'm hoping I have stumbled upon a setup that gives decent speed in all sectors with a general compromise instead of favouring any individual sector, which I hope is why my 56.6 is off my slowest recorded T1.

39/100ths isn't really a small gap, quite hard to make up that much ground in the final sector. That said, finishing positions will still be pretty interesting.:)

Yeah well, I spun out in turn two about one second later...

I have actually found that whenever I have done a 22.1 T1 it almost always compromises me into turn 2, yet my best laps and best T2s have come off 22.2xx.

I guess I am just not adjusting my braking point, braking pressure and turn in well enough.

So very glad tonight is the last night for this combo

Tip 1) Turn TC off.

Hehe, I did tune it to the correct PP :). But I followed your advise, turned TC off and used paulie's tune. Resulted in these splits:

T1: 22.923
T2: 58.353
