Very enjoyable combo. 👍

Agreed.

New splits after trying to pass my ghost thru the final corners for an hour plus.
Seen a couple 32.1's also but this lap has finally passed the old ghost's time.
With that said I should be able to take some more time off the total but I doubt it.

15.750
32.224

I put together a good lap. And finally a clean lap with that. Nailed the final turn, but stiffed the middle part of the run.

T1: 15.681
T2: 31.956 (The middle is where I see way faster split out of a few guys. )

Chad

Second run yielded the following:

T1: 15.733
T2: 31.744

 I got slower. But not at the line interestingly enough, looking at those splits, there's another tenth to be had...

Chopped off a tenth, yay

15.846
32.122

One lap I oddly had the exact same splits that I posted before...weird

Getting better, though I still haven't seen a sub 32 on T2 :(

15.699
32.048

0.003 faster at the line... Starting to become very hard to string a lap together.

T1: 15.756
T2: 31.682

My first sector was hopeless, but my 2nd sector was ridiculously fast, nearly got through the flip flop flat out.. Can't repeat it though. But still more time left, just need to try and string together a good lap. :)

Taking the flip flop almost flat out is brilliant, it can be done but your line has to be 150% spot on. Good splits there Mad 👍 We have to have an online board battle once this WRS is over

Thanks

Yeah for sure mate, it'd be awesome to have an online battle.:D

It certainly was insane, 150km/h plus mid corner in that sector, which is considerably faster than usual. Lucky I suppose.

Board updated.

Impressive splits from our new members clarksman and Seken 👍
Apparently DJC and racingfrk need some encouragment and/or practice :) keep it up guys!

New splits from me. Only a touch better but my laptime was much better.

16.075 (saw a few 15.9s)
32.837

All I could manage after staring at spreadsheets all day.

Board updated.

For city tracks I always need really big encouragements :D

In that case: GO STEVEN!!! :)

For myself, haven't really got the time to play this week. Did a 1 hour session and these are my splits so far:

T1: 16.438
T2: 33.266

Will try again tomorrow (and post my replay of last week)

Okay, Here is my first entry. How do I send the saved ghost replay in the PM? I don't see and attachment file button.

T1: 15.882
T2: 32.244

Replay ID: GTP_RADracing

Hi Radracing.
I can't remember if your already in the GTP Registry.

You won't need to PM this replay to anyone.
The only replays that need to be sent via PM is from our qualifier lap.
Here is a link to our qualifier.

Run the RX-7 at Fuji and if you need to prove your lap replay it will need to be sent via PM.
The lap time from the qualifier will place you in the correct division and then you can compete in the WRS.

If you have already run the qualifier then just disregard what I just stated and have fun here at London.
Read the submitting information from the first post of the thread.
If your lap is fast enough for a podium (1st-3rd place) finish you have to post a replay in that thread and we can help you with that when the time comes.
No need to post a replay during the competition, only after the deadline.

Right, the turkey is eaten and the cranberry sauce gone, time to get under a 32 on T2 lol. Zoom zoom, and go steven! :D

EDIT

Ok I'm having absolutely massive problems with the first corner...true I have a 15.699 on the board but that was shear luck. I rarely ever get under a 15.9xx and it's bugging me! Anyone got any tips for the first corner?

Here's how I'm taking it:
Cross the line at 91 mph (146 kph)
Heavy braking like a meter before I cross the first rumble strip on the left
Brake, then let off and coast through the apex, cutting it rather close to the right barrier
Gradually get to full throttle (in the time of about half a second), avoiding wheelspin at all costs
Get roughly half the car over the left rumble strip, then gradually get over to the right side and hug it

Did it finally XD

15.779
31.933

And made up nearly .5 at the line, this may be near my submission lap

However, being new I'm like deathly terrified of it being dirty, am I allowed to have a volunteer check it for me to verify?

EDIT lol not a 32.933, it's a 31.933

It's a really good idea to have it checked before you submit, as submitting a dirty run is highly discouraged. If no other volunteers come forward, I would gladly oblige - but it would be better for someone from a different division were to look at it for you. 👍

Edit:
And of course it would need to be someone with an NTSC disc :)

Yah indeed, that's what I'm afraid of (paranoid hehe), but thanks :) and yeah I'm NTSC for anyone interested of course

Edit2:
Thanks!!

Board updated.

Welcome to WRS. Your splits are in the board. As you see there are some question marks behind your GTP_ tag. After qualifying please enter your division and controller device in your signature 👍

Thanks, I forgot what division I'm in. Do you have a link to it? And how do I add a signature to my profile? Sorry I'm technically challenged. :nervous:
