Sorry for me submitting my replay so late. I'm very busy with too many things at once

Great lap Bart.

Seems like we're only missing the replay from GTP_VALLEYMD to make this official.

I've sent him a PM. Since this was his first WRS, going to assume he just did not realize the procedure.

Thanks to Sjaak for taking care of the flags, I'm spread a little thin of late. ;)

How do I submit a replay?

I hope I did this right, first timer.

It looks right. Hopefully I'll have a chance to check it tonight and make this one official. (If no NTSC users beat me to it.) ;)

I have tried to download and view some of the other replays, but when I try to open the file my computer gives me a message like this.

"The compressed folder is invalid." I have tried unzipping, but that doesn't work either, and my PS3 won't read a zip file.

That might something to do with the Zip software you are using. There are several different free Zip software programs available. One that I downloaded that also can handle rar files is jZip.

Tried to beat EDK to it but I can't seem to extract this one - let's see how he does with it tonight.

No problems for me.

Nice run overall in your red R8.

If I might offer a few tips -

You were a little late on the brakes for the first 2 turns, causing you to run deep in turn 1 and run wide in turn 2. That cost you a bit of time on both. Especially in a car that understeers like this one, you want to brake on time to set up the best possible exit line.

From the left hand hairpin onto the back straight through the end of the lap, work on using the whole track. Focus on getting the car all the way over, so you have more track to work with and can carry the turns at higher speeds. This cost you the most on the hairpin and on the last turn. Turns going onto long straight sections require maximum exit speed.

In the last sector, for this combo, it was faster to just keep the car in 3rd gear. The turn just after T2 split can use 2nd, but for the other turns, shifting probably cost you some time. You're often better off focusing on getting the smoothest possible line through connecting corners like those, as opposed to doing a whole bunch of shifting. Especially in a car with low end torque, like this one.

Please take those only as comments to help you improve. As I said, nice driving overall. 👍

Very nice Kevin 👍
But now you've opened up a can of worms: can we please expect this service from you on a weekly basis from now on? Preferably at the beginning of each WRS?

I don't have any help for you - you're faster than me. :sly:

Thanks for the tips. I am a long time GT player, but I am not hardcore. Although I did sit and run about 55 laps in one sitting in the R8.
