Vettel, you were actually 0.001 faster! Your first lap was 36.694 and second was 36.388?

I'll upload my replay tomorrow when I wake up. (Probably 1pm )

Thanks Ren, but i'm having enough trouble in D1G.

Cheers are checking my replay 👍, i noticed that to but in the rules it said to use the lap time in the top right corner so i just used that one.

No idea if this question now belongs here or in the Leaderboard-Feedback thread... anyways looking at the leaderboard I noticed GTP_Seken is listed there 3rd with a very strong first lap split, but he never shows up in the results in this thread?

I've he's not in the (un)official result thread he didn't submit his final laptimes to Vaxen.

I checked following replays:

9---1'13.129---GTP_Kakumaki

13--1'13.420---GTP_zed300

I also checked all other replay files posted to this thread sofar.
GTP_Sureshot , I couldn't view your replay. a" damaged file" -issue .

That's the funny number file, so needs to be put in PS3 then SAVEDATA folders.

While I'm listening to the football, I'll look at these replays.

Got a corrupted file when I tried Wayne's replay.

FYI, I forgot to be on-line for my run. Sorry.

Thanks for checking Boss! :)
I'd like to do my share of checking this evening as well (if theres anything left to check that is :ouch:)
That brings me to my question/suggestion Vaxen, Kevin: as replays are being checked would it be possible to put the (hopefully) green little flaggies behind the tags already verified in post #1. Sometimes laziness wins over the good intention to check some replays as you have to go through the entire thread and almost have to take notes to get what is already verified and what still needs checking

To answer your question:
It is policy to put the flag behind a tag when verified for as long as we use flags.
We try to do that regularly during the week for many years.

This week had apparently some delays.

Green flags are behind the tags now.

Edit: Goodness how stupid can a single person be? :ouch:
But at least I now remember correctly what my problem had been recently when I started checking replays...

I looked at the flags and randomly chose non-checked replays. And then it started: I scrolled up and down and up and down until my eyes got blurry only to discover that (I think! sorry if I did overlook anything) not a single replay of the candidates I picked has actually posted yet!? So there's nothing to check.

It may not have been the WRS, but in some competion there was/is a deadline of 48h after submission deadline to upload replays. Might this make sence here, too. (This thing was over Monday, today is Friday...) Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining, even if it may sound so. The opposite is the case. The silly bragboards I've been maintaining in the one or two race threads I've hosted give me a very vague idea of how much work this stuff is, so I am thinking of ways to make this easier for us but without adding strain to the stewards...

That already eliminates the first thought I had: the steward updates post #1 with a further little symbol indicating a competor has uploaded his replay. Means more hassle for the stewards, nevermind that.

Is there any way the fetchbot can handle this? (it seems possible as I see when the results are finalized.... 💡)

Or a 48h deadline would help? Then everyone would know that she/he can happily check away starting Wednesdays...

And (this is connected to a small hassle for the stewards as well, though) a dedicated "upload-thread" (comments etc forbidden!) might make things a bit easier to navigate and give more overview?

Just my thoughts, sorry for all the text, you know me....

Thanks Sjaak! I admit I was wondering, because I had seen the flags pop up in the past
Now I can see where we are and I'll get right to it!

To avoid double-work  I will now look at the following ones:

1'12.275---GTP_Animera
1'12.994---GTP_rmk700
1'13.709---GTP_Vince_Fiero
1'13.881---GTP_DGiant2000
1'19.041---GTP_exstense

Will update this post as I get along with hopefully many green flaggies :)

Ah, you know that only people on the podium need their replays checked, don't you?

Thanks, Ren!

 Like I say: How stupid....
Ok, got it for the next week then, thanks for the heads up Boss! 👍

I've tried but I'm not able to upload a GT5P replay in my PS3:dunce:, there is a thread where it's explained?

You need to load it from here to a flash drive in your computer.
Once on the flash drive you can load it to your PS3.

There can be difficulties at this point.
Many have a problem with the unzipping software that their computer has.

It's compressed and currently this computer I'm on doesn't open these files correctly.
My other computer does it flawlessly. The software just opens it up and I move the BASCUS file to the PS3/SAVEDATA file I created on the flash drive.

That's the basics on how to get the replay to your PS3.
Try it and see if you have problems, if you do, let us know and we will help.

Thanks for the hint 01GTP, I explain how I try to do it:

I download the zipped replay to my PC then I extract the content in a normal folder with WinRar and finally copy it in my flash drive, in the folder PS3/Savedata, but when I try to copy it to my PS3 I always got Damaged File...

I've also tried in other way but nothing :dunce: :banghead:

2 things come to mind.
Questions really.

First
Have you tried more than 1 person's replay?
If not, then it could be a damaged file.
Was this same replay file confirmed by anyone else?
And if it was, it worked for them, so it should work for you.

Second
Was the replay from the same region as yours, PAL?
An NTSC or downloaded version will not be compatible with your PAL disc.

If you're from Egypt like Marooned chances are you'll be using the PAL version of the game 👍
