Wow!
I knew my T3 was good but not that good!!

Very pleased with this win, but it was a huge fluke! This lap happen out of nowhere and my 2nd best was .920. This was my only .6 T2 and I was shocked that I didn't choke!
Given the tough nature of this combo I'm extremly happy with the result, my first session was a ragequit but I managed to pull myself together and make a good enough performance. Very happy!!

Congrats to everyone who survived this hell of a week!

I too could not stand this combo at first, I walked away, calmed down, came back sat down and went at it. My 1st splits were with the wrong tires! I am sure a couple of you can relate! Had to calm down again! I eventually surpassed the times I set with the wrong tires and happy to say I became one with this beautiful beast from the past. I am very proud to take the handicap win after the start I had.

Congrats to all that braved the Cobra and Thank You very much Kevin for this great combo! I also apologize for the names I called you in the privacy of my own home! I wish I could participate in the GT Academy but can't download it here in Canada. Oh and sorry D3!

Great combo this week, best friend had a 427 Shelby Cobra built and will be delivered in a few weeks! He may let me at the wheel!

Congrats Al on Div 4 podium, and 1'st handicapped finish.

I looked at my standing on the leader board and wasn't going to submit! Must have had a wonderful T3! Glad I did! Great work with a difficult car to all podium winners!

These two guys looked clean as a whistle also. Tires, fuel, car, track, babes, etc.. all looked within specs.

This was a wickedly sadistic combo this week. I think that's why I enjoyed it so much. Congrats to all of you that mastered it so well. I was just happy to keep the thing off the walls. Jack, it's a shame you had to bow out after an hour. Had you been able to put in the time, I have no doubts you would have at least podiumed Div 2 if not taken the win.

Another thing I would like to say to all of those that did not post their final time...shame on you! I know some in this league are more concerned about their ranking than the fun of the competition, but if we all felt like posting may give us a positive handicap figure and hurt our chances of promotion, well, the leaderboards would be pretty empty wouldn't they? I for one am thrilled to see that I am in the middle of a dozen or so DIV2 guys in the race and can't wait to see where I'll finish, only to be let down because half of the guys turn out to be start and parkers and pull out before the race is finished.

I checked your replay. Lap was clean and tires ok but why your speedometer is scales only 0-160 km/h when it shoud be 0-320 km/h?

Ian's speedo is in MPH not KPH so only goes up to 160. The speed indicator will still show KPH for you because you have the game set to show KPH but the speedo graphic will not change.

- Very smooth and clean lap. 👍 Using TC is probably what cost you the most time, particularly in the run out of the last hairpin. It was tempting to use it with this car but it really strangled it in the exits. Nice lap though.

Yeah I had one of those too... did a 54.082 but kissed the barrier at the hairpin. Nearly decided to bin this week completely after watching the replay.

I ran this when first posted on the Sunday and saved my lap, the day after my new 320 slim went tits up and started freezing the game for me on start up... whipped it back to Argos and got a full replacement anyway I saw the results posted here today and thought I best see what I had and compare? to find out my save is on the ps3 handed back to Argos I have no idea what my laptime was but I reckon it was below the bottom of D1 for sure

Well done chaps and I will join you again soon when the combo grabs my interest! until then I will be just around the corner annoying some poor sod in some other location

Wow, amazing results guys! I thought the top 3 would be 54.0-54.1 and maaaaybe someone would pull off a bit of magic and sneak under 54, but to see the top 4 all under 54 blows my mind. Twitchy's finish must be just insane, doing some quick math in my head it's *at least* 2 tenths faster than the best I managed when I tried the combo. One corner!

I don't think it was the actual corner but rather the traction out of it. You needed to be very very close to having the rear tyres lit up.

It was all about achieving the maximum possible traction, ie. not getting the tires red without shortshifting.
The fact that I use ClubSport Pedals helped a lot, due to their huge travel. Doubt I'd have made it on G27/G25's pedals, not to even mention DFGT.
