The uphill stretch from before the tunnel to the least turn that's boring.

I have a issue with this part of the track. Sometimes my car will hit the entrance to the tunnel at 90kms, while most other times it would be 87-88kms. The thing is, everytime I exit the U bend corner really wide, thats when I hit the 90kms. But if I follow the racing line, I'm hitting 87-88kms

Very strange

After 10 laps, here are my first splits.

T1:0:38.539
T2:1:09.357

I get 88 there too. 89 once, not sure how now. Anyway a leaderboard check shows I have .4 to find in T1 and T2 so I wouldn't be surprised to be off .4 sec in T3 or even 4 km/h at any point.

Thanks for the kind words Kev. And yes Portland is rockin' :) Tho, truth be told I wish I lived in Cali!

Man! My T1 is just getting hammered out there, I'm gonna have to steer my arms out of their sockets to catch up  nice work guys. Don't trust Sony to race some more, maybe tomorrow after I hear things have cleared up.

First splits:

Got alot of practice riding my lawnmower around this past weekend so I was able to jump right in this week - slighly different feel since the mower is on N2's and has a tad more horsepower.

Does your lawnmower have 7 gears? :sly:

Speaking of gears, this Suzuki has a decent tranny, it's pretty quick shifting.
It does well in 5th gear at the bottom and top of the hill.

After the first session.

Lawnmower!!! I got another ten inches of snow overnight. I'm starting to fear for the roof of my house.

Well now we wont be breaking any speed records  First attempt.

Great to drive at a pace that match my aging reflexes. :dopey:

Wow this is tough, some good splits already posted.
Here's mine for the board:

T1: 0'38.447
T2: 1'08.991

ever-so slight improvement:

T1: 0'38.397
T2: 1'08.852

And this is entering the tunnel at 55mph.
How some of you get into the 37's on T1 is beyond me. Anyway, i'm gonna give this up for a few days, it's melting my brain

Good luck all!

Point for clarification:

2 wheels outside the white line is a foul?????

Believe me when I say winter has been wicked here in Florida - I think they've actually put a motion on the next election ballot to change the name from "The Sunshine State" to "We Thought It was Hell Until It Froze Over!"

No, its more like the GT Citroen - one wicked gear. :sly:

I don't believe so - traditionally at Eiger all hard surface is track. The white line doesn't mean anything unless it is explicitly mentioned in the week's notes and I see nothing from Kev on that - hopefully, he'll chime in and confirm this.

New splits tonight:

0'37.788
1'08.093

I'm getting 2 wheels in the dirt at the top of the hill coming into the S/F line and getting flagged for it....???

Depends how far over you get right there - sometimes it nullifies your current lap and your next one just to aggravate you. I just hit restart at that point. :)
