Its a frustrating ride, especially if one mess up turn 1 over and over again.

T1: 0'25.438
t2: 0'50.967

Oh CRAP! I've been using N1 tires no wonder I had no grip.

Have fun. ;)

And with N3's???

So now we all have to hate the NSX and HSR??

Actually I find this to be a great combo. 👍

All divisions should be just about line astern, I'd reckon.

Starters

23.738
47.826

Did a few more laps today with these improved splits:

T1:0'23.446
T2:0'47.375

Don't know if i will do more laps this week, because i feel the only thing i am doing lap after lap is to stay clear of the invisible wall all the time instead of improving my driving lines ....

Had enough time after work for about 10 laps, gee it's slippery out there isn't it.

The last time i felt nerves like this, i was holding my wives hand whilst she was giving birth to our first child. :sly:

This is a drift trial, isn't it??? :dunce:

First splits

T1 24.017
T2 48.492

It might be an early submission for me. I'm sending my G27 at logitech.

Anyway I will put in a session or two, and I don't know if I will be there next week. :(

Let us know how you go with Logitech, customer relations etc.

I have a G25 not G27 but i'm interested how they treat their customers.

Hope they do the right thing by you mate...

First splits from a clean lap. I'm getting the hang of the first corner, but the rest of the track is still somewhat of a mistery. I see faster T1s quite often now and once a T2 under 47.7, only to lose too much time in the right-hander after T2. Still fun though Kevin. 👍

T1: 23.601
T2: 47.753

I can no longer resist a very good car on a good track on a week where I've got the wasting time to run.

Took 5 laps to get around without virtual death. 10 total, producing these splits:

24.168
48.195

Now to see where I land on the board with these, and then reread DHollands' instructions, and then try more.

Questions:
Is it possible to be on that invisible wall without being on that
rumble outside turn 1?
Is there an invisible wall at the exit of turn 1, in front of the concrete wall?

Tail post edit:

24.045
48.031

The bast way to find out is to drive to these areas slowly and once there drive the car to the wall and stop, or move slow, then have a look with the different camera angles.
I'll have a look when I try the combo again.

We have found these invisible walls in many places, and not only this track.
Here's one from GT4.

Here's my help for this week! Take a cold Red Bull & pour it in a glass then add 3 to 4 shots of 3 Olive grape vodka (chilled) stir & enjoy. The combination does 2 things.

#1 - It gives you a boost of concentration & energy so you can drive better. &

#2 - It relaxes you so when you smash into a wall you dont give a 🤬, which is very helpful this week!

Enjoy!

My experience is good from now.

Sunday, I send a message on their website about my problem.
Monday, they replied and they are telling me to call their 1-800 line as soon as possible.
Tuesday, I call their support line, explaining my problem. They told me to send my wheel. (The whole kit with the pedals and shifter.) They will send me a prepaid invoice to stick on the box in about 48 hours.

Only problem is that they only deal with UPS and there is no UPS office at less than 200 kilometers from my home, so I will have to pay the shipping. I hope it isn't too expensive.:nervous:

Tough on the banking with how poorly GT5P tire modeling handles low speeds.

I think the invisible wall is playing tricks with my mind!

Tis a tricky one this, I finally managed to get half a decent time, only to find that I ever so gently kissed the invisible wall on turn 1. Guess I'm back to square one.

Hope I have some more time on the weekend. There's a rally here on sunday so I won't be playing then :)
