I don't think I'll have motivation this week to give some D2 guys hope at defeating a D1 driver, but if I get really bored on the weekend, hope I shall give.:dopey:

*Sits back to watch Dan vs Eclipsee*

T1 on the move again.

T1: 0'23.673
T2: 0'47.617

Made my goal for T1 /T2

T1: 0'23.592
T2: 0'47.442

T1: 0'23.495
T2: 0'47.433

Now for the lap time goal.

Phillip.

Here's my help for this week! Take a cold Red Bull & pour it in a glass then add 3 to 4 shots of 3 Olive grape vodka (chilled) stir & enjoy. The combination does 2 things.

#1 - It gives you a boost of concentration & energy so you can drive better. &

#2 - It relaxes you so when you smash into a wall you dont give a 🤬, which is very helpful this week!

Enjoy!

Thanks for the tip! I was up all night from the redbull and progressively drove worse but didn't care. Will put in a few more laps before I post my times!

First Splits.

0'23.679
0'47.722

It's hard to resist to the temptation to get sideways sometimes.

Yeah tell that to Tanner Foush. That's why he didn't do too well in the race of Champions. :sly:

Another run, tiny improvement for T2, but the improvement at the finish line is significant. I did have a very nice run with a 47.56x at T2, but I think I hit the wall in the first corner. I'm not taking the risk to post that one. Not again. :scared:

23.685
47.726

Finally time for something other than the testing at this.

I think the reason I liked this combo - If you were to ever give a lesson on smoothness, this would have to be in your planner. ;)

Here are my splits.

23.639
47.739

Will try to improve this weekend, but the Challenger is calling. :dopey:

Kevin

EDIT :

Tiny improvement

23.633
47.738

Could we be much closer?

New splits with approximately .4 off lap time.
With some smoothness I could drop some tenths here and there.

23.686
47.756

No time to really get into this one, regretting it, but hey that is life.

hated the track - loved the track - hate it again!

T1: 23.894
T2: 48.616

losing time in T2...no more triple bombs for me!

I wasn't going to have another go but I had 15 minutes.

T1 - 23.527
T2 - 47.618

I don't usually race against my own ghost but on this week's challenge I've found it quite useful.

First 10 minute session
23.966
48.191

I think I messed up T3 but hopefully I will find more time to improve my overall laptime

P.S those replays at HSR are wicked.👍

1st splits, just arrived from work, I'm very tired so there's a lot of room for improvement tomorrow.

24.155
48.666

You guys are posting impressive splits mates. 👍

new splits

0'23.612
0'47.720

Also, are there any pics or video showing where exactly the invisible walls are?? There are 2 sections on my lap where I do come close to the wall. The 1st is coming out of turn 1 on the left (I have about 5 feet clear of the wall) and the 2nd is coming out of the S bend and passing the 3 colored wall just before the 2nd split

No pics, no videos. It's really quite simple. "If you're not 100% sure that your lap is clean, then consider it dirty."

If you think your car is close, or bumping the invisiwall, based on behavior, please rerun your lap. If you are simply not sure, send me a PM, I'll be glad to check your FINAL replay before you submit. 👍

Post-breakfast splits, slightly better splits but a huge improvement over the total time.

24.110
48.377

Besides, I'm reaching my limits, I'll will do some more laps and wait for your replays, I just can't find a better racing line. :nervous:

Yes, as Kevin stated, when in doubt, throw it out.
When driving, it is no different hitting an invisible wall than any other wall.
It is verifying the contact that becomes a problem as the wall is invisible.
When looking at the photo's there seems to be no contact with a wall, therefor it's an invisible wall.

Here are 2 shots from HSR.
Note that the second picture is of the concrete wall after turn 1.
This is as close to the wall as the game permits in these (and other) areas of the track.

Couple warmup laps felt good. Load ghost replay. Realize in turn 1 I forgot about the N3s. 🤬

Resetting your brain to N3s from S2s is an exercise in frustration, to say the very least.
