Fantastic combo 👍

40 mins before the rugby started...

40.117
1'06.467

Such an awesome car to drive... always wants to rotate in to the corner... my sort of car :D

Still a few tenths to come... Had a couple of mid 39's T1.

Good warm up to get me back in to time trialing before the team event starts.

Mid 39  👍

EDIT
And there is James @Twissy while i posted

Where is this gonna end

Got into the 39s for sector 1 but obviously then bin it immediately in sector 2.

Just about to do a 1st sector vid now.

Incidentally, I rolled my CSW's firmware back to an older version yesterday, as I recently read that the newest one doesn't work very well with GT6. I've lost my rev indicator lights but the wheel does indeed feel better and less unstable/twitchy at the limit. I can't blame that for all my woes since I still qualified pretty well with it as it was but it has made a difference.

Anyone using a Fanatec CSW - you may benefit from rolling back to the older firmware V032

Any chance it helps with the wheel wobble in a straight line as well? I did read that having the SEN setting to off or using a fairly high setting got rid of it, but I don't really like to go over 600 SENS.

I haven't had a lot of time with my wheel yet as I have been fairly busy at work, so settings wise I haven't really found anything I am comfortable with yet, there is certainly more adjustments that can be made to a CSW compared to my old CSR .

(In GT6!) I've put over 1500 km on a RUF BTR... have to give it a go. Even if it's just one long session. Tried a free run this morning though. Splits later.

Later:

43.583
71.933

@mickyevs: Repetitive.
Almost forgot. Of course I'm still slow with the BTR.

I'm going to get hammered on this one because of the discrepancy between my best Sector Times and Best Lap times, but this is the most fun I've had doing these. I never drove any Ruf's in GT5, but I did drive the Yellowbird quite a bit in GT4. It's fun to really thrash this car around with a wheel. Good times!

Can I just clarify something? This is definitely a Time trial right? Only I spent so much time drifting round corners that I am not entirely sure anymore . Can't believe I have never driven this one before as it would make a great drift machine.

Anyway, running B/B of 7/4 and TCS 1, I'm just, well, nowhere. Switched to TCS 3 and, while it helped stabilise the car a bit, it slowed me down too much (though my fastest time is with 3). If nothing else, by the end of the week, we will all be masters at counter steering...knew all that time doing the drift events would pay off!

S1: 41.761

worse T1 and T2 but better at the line :)

hm. car doesn't like braking in corners, and doesn't like speeding in corners either, is there anything this car likes?
