Loving this combo. I'm a way off the pace at the moment so not posting splits yet.
I see it's daily race C too - jumped in without qualifying and went from 17th to 6th (that's good for - I aim for a 3 place gain per race in general) in the first race so these time trials really do help burn the track layouts into your memory.

I had another long go at this one tonight but I just couldn’t squeeze any more out of it. I came close a couple times, but I ended up ruining the lap in one way or another each time. I don’t know how you guys are using this car past +1, it loses so much traction on exits at +2 and above for me, maybe I’m just trying to carry to much speed thru the apex’s. Great Laps so far everyone!!

Hello all, Im back, finally. I got a ps4 recently, been just 2 years of crazy work and stuff, moved industries etc, now work on wine, check me out on IG @the_english_wine_guy

But yes, I have now got gt sport, (no wheel yet, what are you guys using?) so will only be able to use the motion sensor function on the controller for now, but will Check this tt out!

Do I need to qualify or anything first?

Welcome back!

Check this out here. If your GTP and PSN are both the same, you can just begin.

Otherwise, there are instructions to follow, but you can still begin participating.

EDIT: BTW, I show you have the same GTP name, which is very helpful.

Your PSN in the registry is "Doughboy877".

If that's changed, begin participating, but follow instructions in the thread I linked you to so that we can get it changed.

I use the controller but don’t use the motion sensor, I have my left analogue as steering and right analogue as gears. R2 throttle, L2 Brake.

Will give both a go, I have the same acc/br controls though. I always felt the sticks didn't give me enough range for how much I was 'turning' the wheel.. Any tips?

Took a while to get used too but you've just got to keep going, gently resting or off corners do you can put the power on earlier.

I use the motion sensor on the controller for these time trials, I'd say the first thing to do is put the controller sensitivity upto at least 5 (most people have it at 7), I found it gives better control, don't know why it just does. You don't have to hold the controller up fully, you can rest your arms and just lift your left or right hand to corner even if you're holding the controller flat.
It does take some getting used to but the more laps you do, you'll naturally get quicker
