Anyone notice a sound change on the car after updating to 1.21? It's listed in the Updated Sound thread.

And since I have a lot of you on my PSN friend list and no tablet, I'll be looking to try your creations ASAP.
Joo got an Android phone man?

There's a link floating around GTPlanet somewhere which provides the .apk for the track editor app. Already sideloaded it to my S4 and it appears to work. I've done little with it but it did launch and I've created 2 basic no frills tracks. Haven't been able to figure out how to delete them yet though.

There is also an Android emulator you can use on your PC to go that way as well. I'm about to go hunt it down and see how that works, if it does.

No problem, except you'll need to post them again correctly, as Fetchy can't see edits to posts. I've removed your P1 :embarrassed: time, so just post them again. 👍

Managed 3 complete laps yesterday..after managing 3 in the previous 3 days! Improved my best time by a whole 5 hundredths of a second  However, did manage to get 5 sector splits ending in a 4

Another day, faster splits. The more time I gain the more time I see. Cant imagine anyone ever being done with learning on this track. Once you get comfy in the car. There is so much to read from the track, physics to apply etc. Will keep learning for quite some time i'lI recon.

I can only hope you discover stuff in sequence, from start toward the finish. :sly:

I've put some effort in (four digits...) but the lap I did early on is not giving up the ghost. Second best was two tenths behind. I'm planning on about three more sessions.

Those fast turns are fast.

Second clean lap after countless fly-offs. The Hell makes me nervous, and i always chicken out when i'm ahead of my ghost. :nervous: Hope i'll get comfortable someday.

First thing I do after beating my time is removing the ghost and don't look at the timing. I try to make an as fast and clean as possible lap time after time there is enough that should deserve more focus than your time. This way I get more consistent by the lap and I can slowely start to approach my limits instead of going full blast and end up putting it in the wall somewhere half way the lap because I drove beyond my capability.

I can only hope you discover stuff in sequence, from start toward the finish. :sly:

yeah practice and rythm, to me I try to approach like say rockband and instead of hitting the right keys at the right moments I try to do that with clippingpoints and apex' (no idea how multiple of those are spelled in english). trying to block out all else just the car, speedo en revmeter, and the track I only look at the time at the bridge at the main straight. (and finish of course :P)

BB - 5/2

Reversed my brake bias from 5/2 to 2/6.
Found 2 secs at the line. :dopey:

Am submitting my lap, despite knowing it will result in a massive positive handicap score again as, while I know I can go much quicker (have been up almost 3 seconds on my ghost at S6), I can't go quicker and complete the lap cleanly....may try again but, having had 2 dismal weeks in a row, I am really struggling for motivation at the moment

Half of my leaderboard is currently taken by laps completed today.

I had some real improvement at last. I think it was because I didn't load a replay, got rid of the race display and kept it off for over two hours. I had a ghostline though, but apart from the beginning I didn't glance back. The dash speedometer isn't helpful except perhaps in the sense it doesn't provoke me: the only place I wanted that data was Karussell.

So after all that I only knew I had done a couple of laps that didn't feel flawed and I could usually tell if a new lap was quicker, but I didn't know whether I had anything before I went to the menu or leaderboard. The power grid is alright here.

Hi guys! been a while!

I didnt had much time to play this year, only did some lapping with my kart in my free time, very busy, havent touched ps3 and GT6 since last january :nervous:...

I might have some time to give it a try even though i will probably not submit, just to relearn the game and see how rusty i am, and theres probably a thousands of ps3 updates i need to do

this look like a nice combo and looking forward some events this winter!

Good luck all!

Mike, a rusty you could probably still slaughter most, if not all, of us!

Back from my work trip and hopefully have some time to improve my lap time this weekend. Definitely have some work to do if I want to catch Javier - probably not possible, but worth a try. It is the 'Ring after all!

Good luck!

Yesterday, I changed my BB to @numbnuts70 suggestion of 2/6 and used @Thematic suggestion of running without a ghost replay and display off. Had an improved lap of over 2 seconds which I messed up on the penultimate corner :banghead: However, kept going and managed a .4 improvement (would have been much more but almost lost it just before the penultimate corner) before going quicker again for another .7 at the line. Still too many mistakes happening though....have run over 700 miles on this combo for a total of 7 completed, clean laps :(

On the positive side, I did manage to beat my record for the most splits in a lap that end with a 4..my fastest lap had 7 of them and a new record of 5 of those splits in a row!
