Much more productive session today. After experimenting with approaching the corners differently yesterday, namely when to lift of the brakes and apply the throttle, applied it fully to my laps today and the first lap completed was 1.5 seconds quicker at the line....changed the brake bias slightly to 3/6 and managed to imrpove that time by a further 1.3 seconds! So, overall today, I have managed a near 3 second gain...would have been more but my last lap had a poor final sector due to me running it slower due to frequent laps being ruined in that sector.
Will have one more go tomorrow but, given I had all but given up in despair earlier in the week, I have now managed to improve my overall lap time by 4 seconds in 2 days, which I really didn't think was possible...partly down to realising that, on this track, the key to going fast is consistency and smoothness rather than just the absolute speed of other tracks (for example, some corners I release the brake earlier than I instinctively would, let the car coast through most of the corner before picking up the throttle...it looks slower but ends up being quicker)
