GTP_WRS Week 97 : High Speed High Speed Ring

I have just beaten my last time by a couple of tenths anyway and this one wasdefinatly offline, So here are my new splits.
t1: 14.363
t2: 28.270
However where i made the time was in that second to last corner so that isn't shown in the splits.
 
Damn. Now i'm back in the F2007, i remember how hard it is. Last time i drove this beast is a little over a year ago. But love it so much.



First session to day.

Just set a crackin lap time. My little bro came into the room as I came to the end of the second sector and nearly distracted me and ruined it but here are my new times.
t1: 14.299
t2: 28.153

Yep slow first sector I know however I cracked the 2nd sector and was 4 tenths faster at the line then my last fastest time.
 
I think I may have just done the perfect lap (well for me anyway)
Though I didnt use ALL the road available as after the first sector my face look like this :scared:
I believe this just put me at the top of the leaderboard for now!! :crazy:

T1: 14.140
T2: 27.687

I cant actually believe I put in that lap & to think there still more if I let the car run out wider.
I think I could maybe take off 0.1xx for T2. Other than the 2nd corner after the tunnel I felt it was perfect (for me)

That are very good splits :bowdown: With this lap you deserve to promote to div 2 or 1. What are you doin in div 4 anyway?

Why thankyou :sly: Seriously though I dont know how I got those splits. It just all came together it seems.
I've only ran the F2007 once before (suzuka for 2 laps which was appauling) so this is the first time really.
Its also only my 3rd/4th week with a wheel. I am amazed that my splits are so good.
I dont think I deserve to be Div 1/2. Its just a one off.

Outstanding times! Well done!
After having a quick session with the f1 2007 again, I'm pleased with my T1 technique, t2 has another 5 tenths at least to easily give up maybe more.

T1 0.14.345
T2 0.28.540
 
New splits:

14.114
27.623

Still room to improve my total, hopefully I'll get another go tomorrow after the (real) F1.
 
Back again to WRS, first and likely only splits:

T1: 14.340
T2: 28.229

I'm losing one tenth at the first split and three tenths at the second, at least these are my targets for the week.

Nice combo, I almost never drive this car, mostly because there isn't anything that can match it, but still a nice little kart to learn the proper racing line through a track.
 
Man, I get worse the more I try... Barely a improvement on final time, and my T2 is slower each time I post here. :lol:

Super inconsistent, but a crappy sector time never fails! :scared:

EDIT: Just ran my fastest lap so far, and possibly ever, and I don't think I hit the wall, but I'm afraid someone else might think I did... :( If I didn't there is probably 5mm of space between the tire and the wall...

Did another one, that's clean for sure, but not as quick...

Maybe it is a one lap miracle. Still a great lap and you did it. Div 1 or 2 is abit to enthusiastic :lol: but a div 3 is well deserved. And with your last 3 WRS on the podium and this one. You will probably be promoted
 
Watching the F1 qualifying yesterday put me in the mood for this.

I'm knackered after wandering around Silverstone all day, so not too upset about missing my target of 'club 27' membership. Found a fraction more in the final sector so will be happily submitting the splits below.

T2 0'28.160
 
Submitted wit slightly slower T1 and slightly faster T2 and won abit more on the line.

Submitted with current and only splits, played a lot of GT4 and forgot to improve my time. :dunce:

Also, when I look at the WRS leaderboards there's no info on my controller type, it's a DFGT wheel.

C'mon, GT5 is already knocking on the door, GT4 deserves a little bit of nostalgia before it goes to the limbo after November. :P

Is there any format required, or the FetchBot can read it correctly if I put only "WRS Division 3 Driver - DFGT"?

Yes Dan.

You only need your

Division | DFGT | PAL/NTSC (Copy of GT5p )

That helps when members are viewing your replays.

Submitting with splits on the board. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to have a run with the wheel. However, I'm happy with the time I achieved with the DS3.
