FamineGlad you like that
I did my very best to generate a methodology that would get every AI car but there remains the possibility that I missed something rare. It was a pain to do and no mistake!
Famine spent approximately 18 months putting all the data for this book together and that was day in, day out. That wasn't including all the data he had already collated previously from each game shortly after their release.Price is too high for me, its like 45 Turkish Liras, and its expensive for a univercity stundent. Please drop the pdf one's price to like 10$ huh

He stopped only a few days before our baby was born last November and then Jordan took over, spending another year sorting out the layout, editing it and making sure it was perfect before finally releasing it for sale. I have seen numerous draft copies and revisions of this book.
Would you expect something, which has taken that much time and effort to not turn at least a small profit? Would you give that away for free?
I'm sorry if I seem blunt or even defensive but I have first hand seen the amount of work which has gone into this project and I keep reading negative comments which make me feel really quite dismayed

I guess it's great, and I appreciate the effort required but can't ignore this: insert.wikia.com (GTA one is the most detailed and elaborate), MGS4 Database (PS3 software) and many more (not to mention wikipedia.com). All of these things took much effort (many years), yet all of these are free.
I don't know, it's morally inadequante to profit on someone else's intelectual property (even tho it's legally possible), even more morally challenging when similar things (such as wikis, and such) are distrubuted at no cost.

Guess you're right, although not every wiki is wrong (hence I said GTA wikia).
Anyways, went to check if I could buy this and to my dissapointment - I can't, country not supported.
Can't, country not supported.
But it isn't, oh well.
And wrong.
Yeah I know. Look at all the moral inadequantes in the reference book industry (particularly dictionaries that profit from the intelectual property of everyone - our language). Also, (sic).
GTPlanet costs money to run. In fact it costs a crapload of money to run. You're currently using it for free - Jordan is personally throwing money at you to complain at him, while the two of us spent slightly more than two years putting together the greatest single reference guide to the Gran Turismo series ever made to help ensure this site's survival as a community.
Tell me more about morally challenging behaviour.
Thanks for the update. 👍 I think I'll just buy the book now.Yes. It's ludicrously expensive and we'd have to pay import duty and import VAT (despite VAT not being applicable to books in the UK).
I'm investigating a plan B, but it's not going to occur before Christmas.
I only have a question ..
How will you update the book , when for example , a new DLC comes out?

... As for the GTPedia, I wholeheartedly appreciate the effort Jordan and Famine have put in, and cannot wait to get a hardcopy of the book, pending Famine's plan B.
