Ok guys! Here are the changes made to the general rules, division placement and car selection process:
The car selection process will be open on November 5 2011, Season 2 champions Ultrap13 and Tissimo will have priority on car choice.
- All drivers must comply to the Power and Weight restriction listed in the Car List above.
- ABS allowed.
- TCS Banned for division 1, maximum of TCS 1 allowed for division 2.
- Drivng line banned.
- Active steering banned.
- Skid recovery force banned.
- Tire wear/fuel consumption ON.
- Boost will be turned off.
- Grip reduction will be set to real.
- Slipstream will be set to weak.
- Damage will be set to heavy.
- Penalties will be turned off.
- Tire selection is unrestricted.
- All tuning, and setting adjustments are allowed per the discretion of each driver.
Each race will run a lenght from 55 to 65 minutes with the final round consisting of a 2hr enduro.
Qualifying will take place before the race with a 20 minute free run qualifying session.
The divisons will be determined by a series of 6 time trials on 6 different tracks using the Zonda R from the online recomended garage. The lowest cumulative times will determine division placement. Each time trial run will be set to 5 laps and only the fastest clean lap will be recorded. All time trial runs have to be witnesed by a GTPFIA official, everyone with the exeption of Ultrap13 and Tissimo have to go trugh this process before the deadline date on November 5 at 12AM US EST.

-Nurburgring GP-F

No, you can do it track by track if you'd like to. All you need is one of the officials to spectate your run and report your times.

I'll drop by and start working on taming that beast!
That's a good question, Tiss and Ultrap will be the first ones to chose, after that we can either go by S2 points or TT times.

Well, I am on lockdown, so i'd have to work a miracle to be able to use my PS3 anytime soon. Parents are annoying, bad grades even more so. Could I use the fact that I was fairly fast in S2, to secure me a place in Division 1, no matter the car? Or do I have to find a miracle, or out the door?

ok the TT with Zonda R is good as long as it is the same car for everybody! there is also a bad side to this method, it plays into the hands of hot lappers and not consistent drivers which is what it takes to win in this series.
i don't like the idea of using that method for car selection i agree with Owens we would have been here without that prize, we have paid our dues and deserve the rewards.

Had a lot of fun tonight guys! This TT is gonna be tough, we better show up with our A game or not show up at all! Putting down a clean fast lap arround Spa is a challenge on this thing! At the moment i'm looking at puting down my first timed run at Monza sometime tomorrow.
