I was thinking about racing today. With the white Ford in Div 2. But the tire wear turned me off of these cars and their power. It seems you have to drop the power for tire wear to even out. Anything over 550hp seems overkill for the softs. I'm in the process of starting up a new series with Red Bulls with limited power using HARD tires, since the grip is actually good with the amount of downforce those cars make, using HARD tires is possible and it'll actually equal a race because they're the only tires of the racing compounds that seem to last more than 8 laps!

we have banned softs in this series, so meds are the way to go, and they last about 7-9 laps at GVS. You should join us, and you'd be racing against the Div 1 guys most likely too, which is what you wanted, isnt it?
On a side note, those redbulls are insane and a great deal of fun. They have tremendous grip on comfort hards, which last like 70 laps, lol

This is what I've been saying. Remember that long post I had a few weeks back with my theory on racing without tire wear. IRL you're not going to see tire wear in a period of 10 laps. Since this race is basically only 30-40 laps there's no reason we can't just have a mandatory stop or two. I donno. I'll be getting online shortly.

Im sorry for leaving the race today guys but this is the 4th race in a row Ive been taken out of contention at the begining. Im no where near fast as most of you but Im not last place either. I just find it odd that people enter a series that runs heavy damage yet do not have the skill to avoid hitting others while in a draft or in tight turns. This is just one too many time this has happened for me, I regret to say I will not be finishing up the season. Good luck to you all best of wishes for the last 2 races.

There is no comming back from engine damage on turn 1 with a controller my car wont even go into 6th gear with engine damage. Trust me Id be about a lap down already after exiting the pits its happened to me a few races in a row now. I wont be disscussing the issue any further this is my last post in this series and I will not be returning next season.

I'm inclined to agree with Kakarot here. I'm just not having fun anymore. I seriously got screwed in the first corner and I was taking it easy as well, but still got slammed from behind and I don't remember if I rammed into someone else as a direct result. If I did, sorry about that. Not to mention I got damaged from the pace lap due to all the brake checking (T-n-T can also vouch for that) especially in the last chicane. I've never quit a race before, but this was just hopeless and pointless as I was the only Div 2 left and was only going to get lapped down anyways. It's no fun if I'm not competitve with the field.
Div 2 is pretty much dead to begin with, save 3 drivers (now 2). Sorry, but I am seriously thinking about dropping too. If you don't mind, I wouldn't mind filling the role of the pace car. Or not, whatever. I just feel so out of place with this series.
I feel guilty enough from hitting Kakarot in the last race, and he has now dropped out partly because of that.

That's was a pretty horrible pace lap...I don't know what exactly was going on in front of me, but I had to brake hard 4-5 times to avoid damage..the last time was on the strait right before the start, I had to go on the grass...
And I know how to keep proper distance, the is my 3rd season here...next race I'm gonna just start in the back

I ended up being rear ended by TNT which probably ruined his race and why he was mad at me. But the pace lap was a sham. As everyone had to check up numerous times.

I agree with Sin. I'm the one who hit him in the first turn. I had no choice with freshseth hot dogging it into the first turn on the right side of me when there was no room for him to be there. He forced me out of position and into Sin I went. People who have hardly raced this series should not be allowed to race with us. They don't take the time or effort to be here every race. Sinladar & I have been here for everyone(Sin missed the 1st race). We practice most of the week. It's alot of time we put in to race. We don't like our races ruined by someone who can't be patient. I am talking about freshseth. He was doing the same to me in practice trying to pass and forcing me off the track.
We have dedicated every Sunday to race in your series Jav. Yesterdays race was B.S. Last weekend tr1mble glitched the whole race and caused me damage twice. It's like no one gets pennalized for anything.
Sorry for leaving the race also, but I wasn't going to let Sin be the only one leaving because of the crud that went on during the pace lap and in the first turn.

Because you slammed on your breaks like everyone else was. I got hit in the rear as well. It caused me both rear shock damage and front right shock damage. My car still handled well and I was going to pit after the lap was finished. But you going as fast as posible into turn one and forcing yourself into the corner where you shouldn't have been, was the wrong move. To avoid hitting you, I hit Sinladar. You should have been more patient and passed when the oppertunity was there. You had no buisness forcing a pass in turn 1. You're fast, but have alot to learn about being patient.
You should have never been alowed to run the Corvette. The white Ford GT Spec 2 Race car was the one you were supposed to be in.
I race to be as clean a driver as posible. Sometimes I have my moments just like everyone else. When I want to play dirty or wreck other people, I go play "Dirty Nascar".

The inside was where I was, if you see someone there don't try to cut them off. You did it in practice as well. I stayed to the inside as best i could, but i had rear damage so it was steering to the left.

Quit complaining about 1 little incident. You were to the left of the track, I was to the right. You don't turn in on someone because you think it's your place. I was allowed to run the Vette according to Jav. So whatever you think is pointless. Save for that 1st turn there was nothing between us. Keep it that way.
