The inside was where I was, if you see someone there don't try to cut them off. You did it in practice as well. I stayed to the inside as best i could, but i had rear damage so it was steering to the left.

You forced yourself into that position. I am so sick of your B.S freshseth. You can't admit when you're wrong. If you had that much damage to the point that your car wasn't stering well, you shouldn't have been racing that hard into the corner. You argu everything.

Last weekend tr1mble glitched the whole race and caused me damage twice. It's like no one gets pennalized for anything.

I don't think you can get penilized for glitching...but I have no idea why my game was so bad, but even I noticed it after pipi dropped...
I usually have one of the most stable connections, never glitched in a race before, or have never been dropped from a race in the 3 seasons of this series...

I know how you guys feel though, this was the first serious series I joined, way back last march, and I had to go through the same growing pains in racing with top notch drivers, learning the real driving lines and how to pass etc....my first season, the first 4-5 races were over for my by lap 7 lol....but I would stick for the whole race and by the 2nd half I was going a whole race without getting lapped...

If I was u TnT and sinlader, just stick with the last 2 races, its probably the last for the FIA series :(

It's a shame to read all these complaints in a Series as GTP FIA :( . I think some drivers here have to be patient. It's clearly not usefull to forcing and/or blocking in turn 1 at the begenning of the races. Races are long, be patient and drive intelligently.

Patience and cleverness are the keys...

It always seems to be the people in the back half of the field that has problems on the pace lap and in turn 1. We should know and understand by now that we need to keep our distances from the other drivers for much of the pace lap until coming onto the front straight when we slow WAY down. This is when we need to tighten it up, but try not to get onto the rear bumper of the guy because you never know what can happen. If this is kept in mind, plus having "outs" like you would on a public road in real life to avoid accidents, then we can have a lot cleaner pace laps. I don't want to be mean of condescending, but we havent had pace lap problems or really many turn 1 issues until the Div 2 guys joined the Div 1 races. Now I'm not saying it's because the Div 2 guys arent able to do it, but there might be some correlation. You guys should really join the last two races and just run them. The more practice you get at it, the better it will be. That's my $.02

On a side note, the Laguna race on the schedule says lap number is TBD. Has it BDed yet? I'm guessing that lap times will average around 1:20s and races are about an hour, so 45laps is what I'm going to go on until someone says otherwise.

You freak out over stupid little things. I was there guy, at the corner. Maybe you didn't look close enough but my car was at the corner before or at the same time your's was. I didn't force anything. Maybe you should be driving more carefully if you had damage yourself. I was able to control it and I stayed as far to the inside as possible. I even rode the curbing. You gave up anyway and quit. I had damage too but at least I stayed as long as I could. Sick of my B/S? You raced me like twice. You're a joke to me, you should get off it. Not only is your argument weak, but you tried to pass me before we even crossed the start/finish line. You passed me on the pace lap as well. All the claims you have about me being impatient, yet you couldn't even hold the outside lane and pass me in another area. I'm done talking to you. Done replying to you. Don't pretend to know my race craft when you've only experienced it sparsely.

I'll be there, but I'm moving the 1st of March. I should only be off my connection for about a week.
I didn't plan on leaving the series and again, I opologise for leaving the race. Sinladar is my friend and I didn't want him to leave mad. Just like like most of us, atleast I can admit when I hit someone.:)👍

There is a reason why there is a Div2. It is for us slower and less experienced, but then you get people that don't want to show. Then we end up in with division 1. I'm going to the back of the pack at the next race. lol

If you don't want to talk to me freshseth, that won't hurt my feelings any. Thank you. :)

Don't speak about me in code either. If you got a problem with me you can settle it in a more mature matter. You don't have to make sly little comments. Just get on with it, if you want to settle this then see me in a race.

So jav what you decide, he gonna do the 2 races left/3 if we make GP/F again, lol

or we just go ahead for new season?

If necessary we'll redo GP/F, if Veloci clinches the championship by Spa we will just go ahead and move on to the next season.

well since this thread has seen a new light, and activity has resumed, how many laps are we running on sunday? Damn, you mean i cant clinch this weekend?

Yea magz, that zonda is quick there! It beat the field by at least half second in the first race, but i pulled a stupid with 2 laps to go and decided to make love to a wall DX

Jav
Lol!! That's your track Magz! Going for the win??

Yeah be nice to win at least one. Some fast drivers this season. No question that veloci deserves it, well done. Sure he's making room for the chair as we speak lol. Hopefully jav you'll open up a GT2 league! That be Sweet:dopey:

We still have to do Laguna before Spa, so there's still a chance you can go to Spa as the champion.

Veloci you still have tha Google doc with the standings? My laptop's power supply died and I don't have Exell on my gaming PC...

So Jav GT2 for next season?

Should be good next season don't know if I will stick to my corvette tho might need to choose something different :tup

Yikes, Hard tires suck. Mediums would be good. Or just make everyone use two compounds per race. Spice it up a little bit. I'd be interested if it was an open formula, every GT car in the game based around 630PP or something. I donno, just a suggestion.

HP be a lot lower and much easier to drive. Plenty of grip on hards.

GT2 foeld sure! GT1 is just silly on the current tire wear model.

GT2 cars are too boring. They are too slow and uninteresting to drive. Racing might end up close, but it just won't have the soul these GT1 cars have.

Hards have little grip. Barely more than sport softs. The tire modeling in this game is way off. The softs are accurate to the level of grip they provide, but the life of them if pathetic. Basically Hard racing tires IRL are equal to softs in GT5. Hard tires in GT5 are a joke IMO. And I agree with peter, the cars will be easy to drive. But they are still fun if you push them to their limits.

Hards have more then enough grip for 450-500hp and 1300-1400kgs. Putting then on softs will make it mindless to drive.

Sorry for the late reply, I was busy helping build a house in mexico for some needy locals yesterday and when I got home, I just passed out. I have the standings up-to-date, but you might want to double check them because You and I count points on drops a bit differently, and I am not sure where each person is. So I'll post it up, but it might not be 100% accurate. I know me and tiss are though, but the numbers were a bit different than yours for the past couple races; same spread, different numbers o.O
