I could've done better everywhere to be honest. You can only do so much in 5 laps. In Practice before all of them, except Laguna, I was setting laptimes that could put me higher up or even on top a bit more, but when it was time to deliver, it was just not there. My lap there at Laguna surprised me though, fastest of the night for me, and didn't expect to be that quick either. Tracks like Monza, Fuji, Nurb GP/F, there's several tenths lying around the track, Suzuka to a lesser extent.

Same here i did a few practices around Spa before my qualifying lap and i hit a 2.9.6sec but couldnt really deliver it in qualifying 👎

Times are times. They don't really matter as they are just divisional placements at the moment. Seeing as though alot of people didn't bother doing them, it looks like it's a case of another registration step.

You're not alone. Only one track did I run on my best time. Rest were a second of more off. :( choked
 
i am disappointed at my time for laguna seca, i could have been a second faster there just had a small twitch and then i was to cautious just to get a time in. all in all a good showing for Red_Eye Racing. i would like to thank my sponsor's, owens for the racing gear thanks man gotta look good to go good!!! and a big thanks goes out to Jav for bringing all these great drivers together for another great season of GTPFIA racing

Since I was anxious to know if I had qualified, I already checked the total times (for those who ran TT in all 6 circuits).

i just want to say holy 🤬. really close times ALMOST everywhere, some of these times are so close excellent racing good job guys
 
NASCAR over (good job Tony Stewart 👍), now I can turn my atention to GT5...

By the way, can we pick any car for tonight's race, given it's a practice one?
 
The McLaren F1 GTR, is it any good? It has the same aerodynamic values as say, the CLK, but 50 hp more. Equal aero implies that it handles well, but the 650hp makes me think otherwise, or that there is a catch. Can't test now, but might consider using that car.

The f1 is a lot looser than the clk. that clk just carves the corners where the f1 seems to like to slide around them more. Its almost driver's preference with the current setup, but at equal hp, the clk will be quicker.

If you are asking, I'll stick with my trusty Clk which I've lovingly named "Flipper" and her back up, "Flapper". See you guys soon.
 
Sorry magz and owens on lap 1!

Sorry I quit the race, my car felt totally different in race than practice trim. In free run/qualy I was setting 1:41s. In race I could barely sneak in to the 45s. Might have been the first lap incidents I don't know, but the car felt odd in the race. Tried new tyres etc, but to no avail.
