I came to the room late to see 2 guys in the Ford. I used the GTR instead. I said I'd give up the Ford for the new guy to use it in this thread before. I guess it went unnoticed.

Ya but I think what Jav is saying is that it still didnt free up a GTR TC in div2 as both were already taken. Although I dont believe either of those drivers has made even 1 race but rules are rules.

Some of the guys in div2 changed their cars before ever doing a regular season race and it still counted as their 1 swich so it hardly seems fair to let someone else use a car that is not available.

I still say the 51 and 91 vipers need to count as seperate cars especialy with 4 fords being useable.

And the Nissan R390 needs to be unbanned! I never got why the R390 should've been banned, especially with the Ford at the time still unbanned and unpenalized. Maybe you could give the Nissan 570hp to put it on the same ground as the Ford and Zonda? The car is beautiful!

i don't think you guys saw what i did in the R390:) i'm really glad that car did get banned because i would not have got one and the two drivers that did end up with it would be 1, 2 with all the race victories easy 1 stop everywhere

We were both using it in that pre season race, and I tried ever so hard to beat your lap, and came very close to doing so several times, but couldn't do it. It was a 1:48.8 at Nurburgring. My car was completely stock, though.

Maybe some testing is in order.

I was there lucky. The car had 600hp at the time, I think that dropping it 30-50hp would put it in a fair spot, as it is on par with the Ford on tyre wear, and in my hands at least, equal and slightly slower than the Ford.

i could have completed that race without a pit stop. the tire degradation is why to good for this series. the R390 i was driving was also a brand new car at that time with only a base tune.

I just used a GTR cus no one else used it. If you were there every race the GTRs NEVER were used. You say so yourself, yet youre going off like its not fair? I don't know about you, but I only picked the GTR to be able to race at the 'level' Div 2 guys seem to be at. I didn't pick another Ford, or the Zonda, or CLK, they'd blow the competition away. I think you should be glad that I picked the GTR instead, but if it's such a problem I can get one of the aforementioned cars and cake walk. Anyway I got no points for the race, so I basically waisted an hour for nothing? I need that to be explained to me.

Seth this series has a set of rules everyone needs to follow, everyone does and have no problems with doing so. Supra asked earlier on this thread about availability on the GT-R and it was answered, all 4 GT-Rs are taken and it's something that needs to be honored just like your spot here is honored even if you don't make every race. So if you want to make a car switch you need to inform the stewards about it. And I would suggest you leave your arrogance and ego out of this series, it really isn't apreciated.

I understand where both of you guys are coming from, Jav has to maintain order somehow, but at the same time if NOBODY has showed up even once to use the GT-R in Division 2, it seems unnecessary to take away points, given that the series does allow a car switch anyway. He messed up with proper procedure so yea, you definitely have the right to penalize him, but it seems like overkill. I had the same opinion about other stuff last season however, and that didn't get me anywhere then either, lol.

Also, I'll sign up for Division 2, although I'm not 100% sure how my attendance will be.

(Not referring to everyone by any means, but more than one.) I race with Seth on a weekly basis and have never found him to be even a shred arrogant.

Thanks Jav, will do. Was not referring to you personally in my post, I know you try to be as fair as possible. To be honest these series only work as dictatorships lol, there's no way to please everyone all the time, I get it.

There is some stiff competition in Div 2. Many fast guys just missed the qualifying for Div 1. As well you practice weekly with everyone. No separate sessions. Unless we get 16+ practicing. Never seen that. LoL

Not sayin the GTR is unfair for you to use I should have made it clear that you were told by the host that car was unavailable before you decicded to hold up the start of sundays race after you were told to get out of the GTR

I wasnt going to say anything as Jav setteled this but this is just silly. Arrogance is an issue here I dont think it is polite at all to say after every race finished in 2nd that should have been my win and go on to point out if I hadnt made such and such mistake I would have won and then go post the same sentiment on the forum afterward. I know I am with out a doubt the slowest driver in this series so I dont need to make excuses about my losses but telling me Im lucky you didnt choose a faster car if thats not arrogant I dont know what is. Im just trying to have fun racing in this series if i happen to not finish last thats just a bonus for me.

Im just pointing out the facts here knowing that I would not make div1. I still made the time to do all of the TTs. It really shows arrogance when ppl talk poorly about div2 (sorry harvickfan i know you didnt talk down on div2) just because they are not in div1 because they did not/could not make the time to do the TTs. As for past arrogance I cannot say, as I have seen none in div2 untill this point.

Im sorry if you think this post is inappropriate but I could not keep quiet on this any longer.

I didn't say you were LUCKY that I didn't choose a faster car. I said you should be glad that I was trying to play to a fair level and not being mr. win it all with the fastest car. No one told me to 'get out of the GTR' either. I said that I was going to use the GTR on these forums before the race started. I said I'll give up the Ford for the new guy- who WON! So much for arrogance. Saying you could have won but for a mistake is arrogance? Driving a slower car to have fun racing with the competition is arrogance? What arrogance is, is the fact that I posted I was going to use the GTR- which no one showed up for, NOT ONCE, not even practice in DIV 2. but my post got ignored. Then I get no points because I didn't confirm it with the 'stewards'. I take the time out of my day, an hour and a half on a Sunday afternoon that I could have spent with my 1 year old son, to race with guys who think I'm arrogant for giving up possibly the best car on the grid for the heaviest? I just gotta laugh at that. I get harped on everytime I turn my game on by my g/f. Sunday was the day that she didn't want me to play at all and spend time with her and my kid. So I think you're taking my post the wrong way. If I'd have used the Ford, I still would have got 0 points because there would have been 3. Jav, you said you were taking your one switch and it was done deal. I say I'm going to switch and it's frowned upon because I guess I didn't confirm it? Forgive my ignorance but I didn't see the big deal in driving the GTR, and I thought it had been realized that I made a switch.
