Right then testing starts tomorrow, unfortunatley my best tracks are all the test tracks and will count for nothing, but still I intend to well in this comp so I am going to really try and beat those times. don't forget to check you know all of the rules before posting your times, (i know I am not running the event) just thought I would remind everyone

Oh, and CAMikaze? The drive through penalty thing.... the asterisk clearly says the driver must decide whether or not to take a drive through. Does this mean that in the 'penalty' option of the arcade mode, this should be set to 'none' and not 'forced pit stop'?

EDIT: (Duuuuh, dumbass Venari. The next line in the rules implies that the 'forced pit stop' penalty is turned on. My mistake.)

Sometimes if you hit a wall hard enough during the race, the game will enforce the Drive-Through Penalty for you when you approach the Pit Entrance provided you have Forced Pit Stop selected in the Arcade Options.

EDIT: OK, I updated the Entry List and added a Team List. I've also added a Points List for the Top 15 Finishers if we get 15 - 19 entries by time the Season begins.

I've also been checking the poll on the Race Format and I noticed that some of the people who have voted haven't signed up for this series yet. For those who have done so, I appreciate your interest in this series and I hope you do sign up.

Right, I have just re-won the Clio cup, (restarted game a few days ago) so now I have the car ready for testing tomorrow. Car is such a fun drive I remember the first time I had it. I am going to re-check the rules so I have the right power/weight/tyre set-up on the quick tune menu.

Just posted something about it in the Rules. In short, the times as to be sent via PM to myself and/or RACECAR by the deadline posted in the Round thread. I'll be asking RACECAR if there should be some sort of 'grace period' for the Round deadline for the series.

Unfortunately, Andy hasn't been on-line since 22nd of last month. And I haven't had any E-mail contact either.

I must admit that it is a little concerning, as he wasn't in the best of health at last contact.

J.R. hasn't been on for a while either!

And, neither of them are PAL. They are both NTSC, so replays can't be exchanged.

I'll just soldier on, on my own if I have to.

Wherever I can I am out at the Ring.I watched the GT championship,we had a Clio and Astra Cup in the past and now we have the Leon Cup in Hungary and mainly these are organized on the Hungaroring too.I raced in the Astra Cup few times...
Oh,those were the days...

Hey CAMikaze, can i ask about the race schedule? I was just wondering how the qualifying and race format is going to be like. Can i improve my times even when i have submitted the times already (as it qualifying time and race times) rr is there a certain rule than we must follow? (of course before the deadline) Well it was a good test day (or week) in Tsukuba, too bad everyone didn't get to join the session but hey, we did have a great time right?

OK everyone, Test Session #2 results have been posted and the thread for Pre-Season Test #3 and Race is now up!👍

Also, I got a request for anyone who is good at Photomode and using a photoshop program. I was wondering if anyone here can do some images of the Clio Cup race car on the track by itself and/or racing with other Clio Cup cars. Also, they need to have 'GTPlanet Clio Cup' in the image so that they could be used as header images for the upcoming Clio Cup races. My ideal title image is the usage of the GTPlanet logo alongside the logo for the Clio Cup. I don't know exactly what font is used for the Clio insignia, but I would like to see something like it used. I dunno how well GTPlanet head honcho[SEARCH]Jordan[/SEARCH] would be towards using the websites logo for this series, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask him, huh?
