Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum and also to drifting in GT6.

I need some guidance since I want to drift... I have a Logitech G27 but everytime I try to drift, it all goes wrong. I mean, I've tried lots of cars (I own a lot of Nissan S models since people said they were a good way to start and learn) but I just suck. Any advice? thanks!

Yeah thats part of how I have my cars set up but it's something that alot of people ave said about my tunes.

But its setup to slide alot for long entries and reverse entries but you do need to use alot of brakes with it.

I drifting with ds3 and a logitech gt (i'm two times better with ds3) but i start learning with logitech with these steps.
First find a flat stage like silverstone stowe circuit and use 4wd car with differential 30-70.
When you learn it go to 25-75 then 20-70 and so on and then go to rwd car.
Don't use handbrake only "scandinavian flick" google it if you don't know what it is.

Have you ever considered starting from the bottom? How I see it is, you went and jumped to the high powered cars from the get-go instead of starting low profile.


Just . . . set up a low hp car, perhaps one of those "boring Nissans", and just put a hard racing suspension available. (The one before customisable one). Get around

270 to 300 horsepower on it. If you can, put some weight reduction but do not change the ballast. On low hp cars, in my experience, is better if it has not too much

weight in the rear because its gonna make it grip up and it won't have the power to brake from that. (This is if the car has a distribution of 58-56 in the front.)


Play with the trannys. Whatever is more suitable for you and the course, that's the one. LSD wise, I can't disclose any information on that because that comes down to

preference and there's still -as far as I know- contrastive theories about which settings are best.


Next, -oh, always CH tires on . . . always- try drifting around a circle; perhaps the one from Willow. Try to maintaining your line and consistency. If you see you can do

it, also experiment throwing it around turns. Always baby steps or you will reach nowhere.
