We will be tied, but you will hold the tie-breaker, since my team cannot figure out that scoring lots of points is good.

I do know that much. The game I mentioned could be close though. If the Happy Monks hold on to their lead after tomorrow night, then I'll be pushed down to 3rd based on points. The Texas Twisters have all but lost, and the Shuttlecocks are a long shot to come back and win. That would indeed put you right behind me 4th in the standings, though many, many points back. If the Browncoats have a Monday night miracle and somehow win, then that'll put me 2nd and you 3rd in the standings.

I think this is all correct. I could be wrong though. It is late. :boggled:

I play my opponents, I use defense (something I have no control over nor does it say anything about my team), I win games, I get buried in the standings. Life isn't fair :grumpy: .

Agreed there. You can't control what your opponent scores. My team actually didn't end up scoring as badly as I thought, getting into the 80's. It's just that my opponent happened to put up over 100 this week.

I’ll drop in to say again that our bench spots are still too many [broken record]. It is hard for me to overcome the craptastic start I’ve had when the free agency market is as barren as the Mojave Desert. I don’t see much trade value in what I have either.

I think benches are fair. They were the same last year. FA has a better pool of players than last season (16 teams down to 14 teams) and if you're looking for a one-click fix, that's not the case with deep leagues. Quite often, you'll have to stash away a player for a couple of weeks before he climbs his respective depth chart or comes back to full fitness. I've brought in Harvin from FA knowing he's injured and knowing he'll be a few weeks from fitness.

Well this week sucked for me, big time. Arian Foster and DeSean Jackson leaving their respective games with injuries, DeAngelo Williams not doing much, Philip Rivers throwing only one score and the Cards D sucking. All that added up to a disappointing total of 53 points (fourth lowest score this week) and oh, yet another loss. :indiff:

I'll take DJax if you please :D.

Comeback trail. The 69ers have won 3 straight games. Projected as the 75% odds-on favorite this week (i guess that should be worrisome for me, since these projections are so often wrong ).

Losing record, I can almost see you in the rearview mirror.

A win for the 69ers this week combined with a loss for BBT would place the 69ers in 4th place, striking distance for another heroic playoff run.

I am still absolutely dumbfounded how Blitz has got his team 5-2 with a Points For record that should give him 1-6.

Oh yeah, the Llamas will make the playoffs this season. Week 14 will be fun, 69ers.

Because I am playing teams that choose to score less points than I do! That usually helps.

Wish I had your points against, always seem to catch everyone one of matchups at the worse possible time. So far my average points against is 93 a week.

Heck, I will probably lose this week, and most undoubtedly have my points against rise. If it goes down again in terms of average, then something is VERY wrong.

I have a trade offer given to me where I'd receive Peyton Manning, Calvin Johnson, and Alfred Morris for Drew Brees, Knowshon Moreno, and Desean Jackson.

I don't know, I've never played fantasy football before and all the guys in my league are the super-savvy type that watch all the TV shows and whatnot. I honestly have no idea how I'm tied for 1st.

Yeah, I would have gone for that too.

Pretty sure I'm not this year. A win this week means I'm back at .500, going to be tough.

Giving away Brees and Moreno would bother me though.

And I feel like Manning and Johnson are injury prone.

And he changed the trade from Alfred Morris to Jones-Drew.

Just realised that The Wicky Radsters picked up Marvin Jones earlier this week but left him on the bench for our matchup. Phew, dodged a bullet there. :scared:

My whole team...39.64

Marvin Jones...36.20

It's just the way that my whole season has been. Spiller, my number one draft pick has scored all of 43 points this season.

I'm praying that The Happy Monks doesn't score more than 9 points this week on defense. Maintaining a lead by that much worries me.

This season is pretty much a disaster for me. If anyone wants any of my players, let me know.

Wow, barring any adjustments I won my 6th straight. Good matchup Patrick.
