My team decided to take a crap on me today. I've got Peyton, Demaryius, and Seabass to go tomorrow, but it'll take a miracle to come back from the deficit I'm in.

My highest scoring player as of right now is surprisingly the Cincy D, who played Green Bay. Although they allowed some points, they came up big in some key situations, including a fumble 6. My :censored:ing bench outscored my starters. I missed putting Giovani Bernard in my Flex spot over Miles Austin by less than a minute. Sidney Rice decided to go off on my bench, as well as Nate Washington. Oh, and I found out that Vernon Davis was inactive moments before the 2nd wave of games was to be played today. Apparently, he never was going to go according to Yahoo. Thanks for the heads up, San Fran. So I frantically picked up Charles Clay, who got me a respectable 4 points, despite everything.

Barring another week 1 kind of day for Peyton and Demaryius, I'm likely dropping to 2-1. Though Denver will be facing the Raiders...

Same. :indiff: Thank god for Newton and Williams though. Combined they scored half of my teams points.

And I may have a little hasty in dropping Lafell.

And I had the only stinker in that group in Smith. :grumpy: 40 yards out of my second receiver doesn't really help me.

I got a total of 4 yards out of my WR1 and 10 yards from my TE for a whopping 1.40 points. You cannot complain .

Could you do me a favour this week and leave Miles Austin in your lineup?, pretty please? :dopey: :P

Well, I made a big mistake this week. Decided to go with Eli Manning instead of Schaub (thought maybe the giants were due one and the Texans were playing the Seahawks and the Giants are playing the Chiefs). I figured I was screwed either way this week so I picked Manning....so far it looks like I should have kept Schaub in this week.

These Yahoo! live projections are absolutely pointless and I keep looking at green and red numbers thinking they're the actual score. :grumpy:

They are only projections.

Meanwhile I will win my 2nd straight vs. an undefeated team.

Might be able to pull out a win this week after all. Hopefully Dolphins TE Charles Clay scores less than 11 pts tonight.

By the time I found out Davis was going to play, it was too late to insert him back into my lineup. At the time, I was ticked, especially when he scored a TD. But looking at the score now, I would have lost already had I started him. Clay is my only chance. What killed me was the Bengals offense playing like total crap, forcing the defense to be on the field all game. So naturally points were given up, and I got practically nothing out of them. And the battle of the 'kowski kickers was a joke. Gostkowski slaughtered Seabass. That may be what loses me the matchup this week.

Oh, and I was pleasantly surprised that Austin was out this week. I put Nate Washington in, who got me 22 points. Unfortunately, it looks like it still won't be enough unless Clay gets a TD.

One more TD pass by Brees would give me the overall blowout of the week.

I think I'd rather he had not scored the TD.

I'd rather he didn't score that TD, as well. Might have been able to actually enjoy that game (even though it was a blow out), rather than worrying about Clay's fantasy numbers after he scored.

Edit: Bugger, Dolph actually won that matchup after stat corrections. :grumpy:

Really? I haven't had a chance to look at the stat corrections this week. That's not the way I want to win. :guilty:

I didn't get a chance to see the game. But it says Carlos Dunlap blocked a kick at the end of the 2nd half against the Browns, giving my Cincy defense 2 more points.

Ah, okay. Only logged on the morning to check the what was going on with my team, didn't look to see where those extra two points came from.

Edit: Oh and of course Fred Jackson has to score. Got him riding the bench this week.

I got lucky again I guess. My opponent benched Thomas and Brady isn't doing well yet.

Looks like I will finally get off the schide and win one. Hope that my Denver D will hold up for the second half.

I doubt it would have made a difference. I'm currently projected to earn 100 points and I left the better kicker on the bench this week. Sometimes that is the trouble of drafting two kickers.
