Damn, I thought I got Sproles too, but it was too good to be true.

Got beat in another close one, but my team kind of sucked this week. Jets D shut Brady down hard which killed me. Who would have thought I would have won had I started Leftwich over Brady.

Great recap as always foolkiller.

I won the Sproles lottery! :) I am just sitting him on my bench for now....but!

I like your style. You are looking fairly good at RB, you should be offering something up for trades. Not enough trades in the GTP league...

Finally my team pulls off a win. Jones Drew went nuts for three touchdowns today...though that was mostly just Houston's awful rush defense.

Again, starting Pennington over P. Manning.... yikes.

And I have been offered a trade. Let's see what happens.

I didn't have time to make any adjustments.

Well now I have to start Peyton because Pennington is out and I don't have Chad Henne.

Ok, I have to know, which one of you let Vernon Davis light up your bench this week?

That would be UnoMOTO with 21.6 points sitting on his bench. It doesn't appear that he needed him though.

I assume someone has scrambled to pick up Brown from the Colts. I'd never heard of this guy before I saw him running 70 yards down the field. Even when I'm not playing FFootball, it's still hard not to think of the fantasy implications when players have big days.

Except that now when some noname guy from Minnesota catches a 30 yard game winning TD, I just grin instead of cursing at the TV that Shancoe didn't get it. :sly:

I was hearing the FF geeks say that Davis was a good play this week and yet I still started Kellen Winslow over Davis. Winslow tore it up with 1.40 pts. 👎

I had this trade offered to me in my other league. What do you guys think?

I give up
Percy Harvin
T.J. Houshmandzadeh

To get
Terrell Owens
Hines Ward

I wouldn't give up Harvin, but that is just me. Plus the fact that neither Ward or Owens has had a great start to the season.

It feels good to win. I say this now because last year I started pretty badly, if I recall. (thanks to a Mr. Brady and his gimpy knee 8 minutes in.)

Finally a win, still mad I didn't get a chance to put Harvin and Moss back in before the games started. Stupid mom and her car problems.

Looks like me and Speedy Samurai are going to be playing for the lead this weekend. The projected stats make it look like it's going to be a fairly close game.

Oh and what's the deal with players being on the can't cut list?

It's league-wide as far as I know, and must be set by the league admin. Usually it's not a good idea to cut those guys, though. Looking at my team, I'd never get rid of anybody on the can't cut list.

I didn't add that and I think it has always been there, it just wasn't as obvious before. I noticed it in my other league and someone mentioned that it was always there, but the graphical representation is new and makes it more apparent.

One of my can't cut players is suffering from an injury, LaDainian Tomlinson of San Diego, and I was going to drop him to rework my team due to having some player on a bye. I couldn't though. I guess this is just the first time I've noticed it.

I remember that happening to me in my fantasy hockey league last year when Roberto Louongo missed most of the season due to injury and I could not get rid of him b/c he was on the do not cut list. I guess it's just a yahoo thing
Hopefully yahoo updates the list periodically as LT really doesn't belong on it right now.

After some back and forth I accepted...

Harvin and Hightower

For

TO and Grant.

What do you guys think now?

I am having a terrible time getting a good D. And last week I was plagued by injuries. I'm hoping everything will get back to normal this week. I need a win! :)

This week causes me some concern. My main RB is injured and my other stud, Fred Jackson will be losing carries to Marshawn Lynch and is against a tough Miami run defense. My #1 receiver, goes against Oakland, and has a history of poor performances against them. However, my opponent, Joey, has Daniels and Schaub so if the passing game suffers against Oakland he will be losing points just like me. Do I make some roster changes? hmm...

I'm up 113-39 right now. If it was my defense against his entire team, I'd only be losing by 10 points (29 and counting for the san fransisco d mauling kyle boller). Looks like my bad start was nothing to worry about, I'm going straight to the top in this league.

Oh yeah, can't believe I got the NYG Steve Smith ( 2 TD catches this week) off of waivers, especially in a receiver dominated league like ours (more WR slots than RB slots), best pick up of the season for me.
