Hopefully Geno Machino has a big night tonight.

edit:

Noob...I have a man crush on Marc-Andre Fleury. What will it take to work out a deal?

Hmm, I'll send you an offer.

EDIT: Fleury, Toews, and Carter for Backstrom and Heatley?

Of course just when I pick up Tavares on waivers he gets drilled by an elbow to the head and goes down with a concussion...

It's just a generic rank for now on the league front page. Each week we go head-to-head against another team in the league. You get a win for each stat you have better stats for at the end of the week. So if you have more goals than the other team, you get a win. There's 11 categories so 11 wins up for grabs each week. You get 2 points for each "win" you have, 1 for a tie and 0 for a loss. It'll all make sense once this first week is over, but the first week runs until next Sunday. If you launch the StatTracker and click on "Standings" you'll get a better understanding. Right now it looks like you are in second, 1 point behind me. I apologize if you already understood most of it, it was just easier to explain everything.

Good advice for a fantasy hockey starter, fantasy hockey threw me off years ago the first time I did it, so it's not redundant/obvious for anybody new to it.

Also keep in mind that you can set your lineup many days in advance, so go through and make sure you don't have guys who are playing that day benched. Usually I will set it for a week or two in advance and then just check in periodically for injuries/possible waiver moves.

I had no idea what the ranking was. I thought it just took the totals of your players and ho ever had the best got a point. It turns out to be a little more advanced then I thought. Still fun though either way.

I'm also not used to switching players around so I've had a few of my top guys out since I didn't move anything.

Still interested in M-A Fleury? I'm lacking another bonafide star player after Henrik Sedin.

I would like to apologize for destroying you guys so badly. I got out of the gate strong and never looked back. I wish it could have been much closer, it always feels better to win with a fight.
