GTPD1?
I would do this myself but im already backed up with a few things, though i may be able to have someone get on this. But the recorded replays must be provided, otherwise i don't think he'll do it.

GTPD1 sounds great... The replays would be suplied

First match complete. Congratulations to Chris for winning comfortably, over me ;) Replay below (unfortunately it is only from my POV)

P.S. i had a quick crack @ the intro movie with the original name Formula GTD... i will change it some time in the future (skip to 1.00 if you don't want to watch the intro)

Mrdinosaw94 you thought about the solution with winners and losers bracket?
I suppose your idea with who takes bronze might be the solution for this..
its kinda harsh losing one match then your out..

Good stuff already guys. Congrats to Chris and Cervatov. :)

Both head to head now though. Should be a good match eh. :sly:👍

Can't wait for tomorrow. :)

True, but this way their can be a new tournament every couple weeks. Doing it your way may give people (like me & flamax) a second chance, but will also stretch the tournament out, making each tournament go to far IMHO. However your idea has it's merits... I would like to hear everyone else's' oppinion on this...

Too right, the all <ACN> battle should be great. Good luck tomorrow speedthrill!

if that was the case, the tournament, as you said would run too long. For something like that we neeed more dedicated judges and at this point, planning etc. would put the tournament on hold a little. if there is a way to solve this then brilliant idea! but that means demanding time from people when sometimes it just cannot suit! congratulations on the win chris :)

I apologize for my late entry.
we were driving on an frozen lake 1 mile away and we crashed the car into a snow wall
so it took awhile to get it loose..
it wont happen again i swear.

It's ok pal, it was just frustrating as none of us could get a hold of you...
Best reason i've ever heard though...
*thinks carefully about what the star drifter was doing on an ice lake* ;)

Only factory turbo's allowed sorry..

i think that's no problem. the stock twin turbos in the soarer also do a great job. and 427 hp is enough for the track

Edit: Are other drivers allowed to come in the lobby for watching the race?

Hey Dinosaw, I'm hosting as your not around, I can save the replay and get it to you so don't worry if you cant make it.

Skr_Kaizer sais he'll be back in 15, hopefully you'll be around by then :)

Chris

Hi there, i just came across this thread and wathed the movies of the battles and have two remarks, other than that what you guys are doing looks great, wish i was a bit better when you guys started.

1;Why the one minute intro in every vid; people are going to skipp it..
2;People cant form an opinion when they dont see both cars in the frame. I take it you dont have a capture card, i know the online replay doesnt provide different cams.

My suggestion would be to have someone that has a capture card watches the race from the lobby while using the outside view of the following car.. Dont know if the smoke, when there, would be a problem then.. For the time being; at least put your cam on a steady surface while recording, lol.

But im keen to see more, sounds like an epic tournament.

GTP_Seigo Vs SKR-Kaizer:

Unfortunately I only have the second run, but it's by far the best of the two.

In the first run, GTP_Seigo span on the first corner, but was consistent through the rest of track, saving him one point for a 1-9.

The second run was incredible, showing excelent control from both drivers scoring them 5-5.

SKR-Kaizer wins with 15-5

Congrats to SKR for the win, and to Kaiser for staying so close to your opponent.

GG to both.

Chris.

gj kai, really wish it was us in the semi finals or finals instead of rd 1 though.. clipped the edge of the curb =/ regardless, go hard.

quick rules question ahead off my battle.. is the cerb and green run strip classed as off track or is just cerb allowed?

im pretty sure drift battles dont do the full course? or am i wrong. i thought they only did a section of the course.

The second run is probably my best tandem battle run so far, i totally ignored my rear view mirror because i know u're really close and if i look at it i will screw up for sure XD, nice run seigo

Edit:
Jimmy281090 Vs GTP_L_Hamilton

An extremely close battle, with nice runs from each side.

First round was 6-4 to Jimmy for some minor off tracks.

Second round was 7-3 to Jimmy, due to a couple of corrections and slight off tracks.

13-7 Jimmy is through to the next round.

Congrats to both drivers, the most consistant battle yet!

Chris.
