A- It's not just knocking Aussies, it's knocking the entire world. eg. It would be 1 o'clock in the morning for someone in Finnland! The time zone limits it exclusively to UK.:grumpy:

B- Err, none of those cars can even reach 750 PP. What's wrong with 600 PP?:odd:

It would'nt really matter what day or time I set as there is always a group of people it won't suit.

I chose the 750 event for the use of R3 Tyres and the cars are capable of quicker speeds and better handling, hopefully it will make for a less cautious race and be very competative.

Have you informed the other forums that you're doing this?

If you are posting a racing event for other forums to take part in, then the least you can do is to post it on the other forums.

Yes I have PM'd a few of the other forum members who are registered on this forum to spread the word on there respective forums. Im sorry but my foreign language skills are none existant, and I don't want to try to translate incase I end up saying that their mother's sleep with pigs :)

WOW so much pressure to change the time and date, I might have to crack and change it to the Saturday and a little earlier in time watch this space.

As for the start and waiting for non forum members to take off and we wait an allocated amount of time, in theory would work but I guess that some of us are vey quick and would soon catch them up, ultimately and probably ending up then being rammed of the track.

600PP races have been done to death, I fancied a change in class, lets see how it goes. I reckon that nearly most of the cars listed are capable of winning the races in the right hands, I have personally won quite a few races online in the EVO X and have beaten cars that on paper are quicker than me.

OK, I understand your car choice. But I do find that there are certain times of day that will suit most people. 11:00 UK time/ 10:00 GMT is normally quite good on a weekend. (But not Saturdays, that's Garage Showdown time.:dopey: )

To be honest that was why I originally chose Sunday to avoid the Garage Showdown:tup:, then people are wanting it to be changed to Saturday.

Like I said, you can't please everybody, but I will try.

GT5.net will take part to that race for sure, I will give you names later ;)

One thing for me...... Ban the GTR35 no need of this ugly heavy basher car :dopey:

7500 pp is fine and saturday or sunday evening too 👍

I predict a race full of R35s with maybe the odd R34 here and there. The R8 is also good, but not a match for the Nissans.

Yep, Kudos to whoever turns up in the Lancia :D

Edit I will be running in the R8 Because its cool.

I just took a look at the MAX tuned PP for the 4wd road cars and have been compiling a list so that you can take a veiw on it. Firstly I would like to say only use road cars so that no one is running with downforce. Secondly I recommend if you want to run in 750PP and therfore slicks (which I think is a great idea) you can still give a PP limit for everybody participating to abide by. Take a look at the list and see what you think.

Max PP
Audi R8 680
GTR R35 735
Subaru New 636
Nissan R34 714
Evo X 629
GTR Proto 705
Subaru Old 643
Evo IX 630
Audi TT 623
Lancia 589

Since there are only 3 cars above 700PP, I would recommend pegging the PP limit for enterants at around 630PP, but the choice is yours really.

Not nit picking here but the Skyline is 718pp max;)

Its nice you're trying to stick to the 4WD theme, but I dont think its going to work very well. Is anyone going to go with anything other than the GT-R, or tuned cars? I think not. I mean, Im going to race with the R8, but clearly this is being organised with high competition in mind, so everyone's going to go for the fastest car(s).
If you really want to stop people picking one car, you should put a PP limit on it, or just leave it at 750PP. It depends on how much you want to stick to your 4WD theme.

Just saying.

the Lancer Evolution X/TUNED has no chance against the Lancer Evolution X GSR'07 at 600 LP, and the Lancer Evolution X GSR'07 the same against Lancer Evolution X /TUNED at 750 LP.

so i will start with my EvoX. :dopey:

Sod it, scrap the 4 Wheel Drive idea any cars welcome with any PP upto and including 750. In theory it sounded like a good idea but the reality is that there is to many factors to take into account to make it run smoothly. These sort of specific events will be better arranged when the private rooms are available.

Lets all just have some good clean fast racing in your vehicle of choice with what ever settings you prefer.

I started this thread hoping to have some good, fast and clean racing with fellow GTPLANET members and other forum members, so lets make sure it happens.

Sorry if this has caused any inconvinience or confussion.

Why not state that we all drive the same car, same pp etc, and then the next event drive something else?

Nice Idea:) but if I did implement this im sure that it would'nt be to everybodys taste and then there would be requests to change the car, alter the set PP the list goes on, not that there is anything wrong with people having their say or offering advice but I don't want to keep altering or changing this event. So can I just leave it as is with no PP restriction and you use what ever vehicle suits your driving style.

Most of us taking part will know which cars are the quickest:mischievous: using the allowed 750PP, but I am living in hope not to see a grid full of GT LM's, S2000's or R35's. Myself personally I wil not be driving in any of the above.

My choice of weapon will be the Concept By Gran Turismo Lancer EVO X it has the ability to be the quickest around Suzuka but one mistake and you usually end up at the back of the pack chasing hard.

Im liking your idea of using a different car each event. It would be cool if somebody could organise an Official Forum Race Event v Other GT Forums and make it a regular event, where each event had a set car to use and a set PP, myself I am not able to do with the amount of time and dedication it takes to do, it would be a huge task. Man im worn out trying to organise this little tiny race.:)

Please if you have'nt already signed up do so, it will be a blast.

Thankyou.:)

So is this going to be one race, multiple races with set times, or multiple races which immediately begin after the previous race?

It all depends on how many people sign up. I am hopeing it will be a good turn out so that we can have multiple groups of racers all setting off at various set times, more or less the same as the first unofficial forum race event.

I will sort out the groups and times once all the entrants have put their names forward.

NOW CHANGED TO SATURDAY AND A SLIGHTLY EARLIER TIME, THIS WILL/SHOULD ALLOW MORE FORUM MEMBERS TO JOIN.

BLAHH WORK MONDAY MORNINGS.

Put me down fer some. I'm kinda scared to go S2000 in case I get called a wuss so I'll probably show up in DC's tuned viper.

Thanks for your consideration.👍

I'll check the first post for what the new time. Maybe I can represent.💡

Edit: I would be lying if I said that was an easy time for me to make, but if nothing else comes up I can race. I'll have to get up at 05:15 just to race though.:indiff: Oh well,

nd 4 holden spd

Does GTP have to drive in a certain colour? I'll be in my beloved GM made Corvette if I can make it.:dopey:

The main problem we might find at Suz 750 pp is host disconection.......

I never end any race at 750 pp.... most of race disconected lap 1 :ouch:

I´m happy to host 98% of my races... :) so might not be problem if you end up in the same grid. 👍
