Does GTP have to drive in a certain colour? I'll be in my beloved GM made Corvette if I can make it.

The colours of the cars for GTPLANET members should be what has been voted for in Gnobody's Thread.

So at the time of writing this we should try to use.

RED and BLACK cars.

As we will be between 20 to 30 players, Why not just simply all push the start button at the same time so it will mix the group and everyone will normally have a chance to race with at least 6 to 10 other players in 2 to 3 races.
So if someone cannot connect, he might be joining the others and so on 👍

I'd actually prefer it that way, the set times thing didn't work very well last time and it caused more frustration that it did enjoyment. Doing it that way, we are almost guaranteed to get into full grid of awesome.

OP isn't too clear on this.

Races will start at 21.00 UK time (9.00pm) and race for one hour (or if it turns out to be good fun and it is working, race as long as you want afterwards. Its upto to you.) I think we should arrange it as a free for all. No set times or groups, after a race has finished or it gets disconnected just hit the start icon as quick as possible. This should fllood the starting grids with forum races, if a punter joins, he will think:censored:

Structed times work in theory but on the practical side they are not guaranteed to work, until we get private rooms.

I will update the first thread with this and we will go from there.

On a sad note for me I will not be able to participate. The missus has arranged a surprise weekend away for us and our 2 small kids. She has had it planned for weeks, and wasn't going to tell me until Friday, I mentioned the forum race I was organising to her and she had to let the cat out of the bag.

I will keep adding names to the list for as long as I can, upto and including Friday.

05:15 for me. Sucks to be in Perth right now. Still incredibly early for both of us. At least I'll be so tired by night time I could actually go to bed early and be wide awake for work the next day.

NOTE: just a proposal.

May be too late, but I think it takes away a bit, if we do this non-stop thing.. if there is four "official" starts, it feels more involving. After that the meeting could continue more freely, everybody just hitting the start as soon as one feels so. Also would be nice to have a couple of starts, where every board would (might) be presented.

I understand the workload is much bigger that way, but I have a post on the first page so I can handle it, if needed.

But nice to have this board meeting anyway! 👍 thanks for doing this at the first place.

^We were just discussing that, and I think we all agree that that kind of organisation is too frustrating with the online as it is. Just leave it as a "join in this hour" kind of setup, its a lot less frustrating and more fun.
