Tonights race event was a real blast for me and it could not have happened without you guys. When/if the private room function/option becomes available these types of one off race events will be more successful and a lot more enjoyable. I get a little kick out of organising race events and I'm always thinking of new and interesting ways of trying to get us all to race, as a matter of fact I have an 💡 for another race event, this one should be a learning curve for us new members to gtplanet.

Man I 🤬 dislike punters and host disconnectors.

Hey homeforsummer, was a good final lap with you on the second race. It is quite nerve racking having that elise buzzing behind you through the esses at the start of the lap!

Yeah, I was getting left for dead on the straights but through the esses I could gain probably three seconds on the other cars! I was just having trouble with my brakes, the Elise can brake in probably two thirds the distance of the Viper/Corvette/Amuse etc so even if I braked early in anticipation of someone ahead it still wasn't early enough!

Big thanks to DONK for organising the events though, really will be a hell of a lot of fun once we have private rooms.

Well Sphinx you won both the races I was in, the third race, which i won you were not present. Was a somewhat hollow victory.

By the way if you get bored could you mention some advice on keeping the s2000 back end in line with the front, you looked very smooth, in comparison to my big moment at Dunlop in the first race while leading!

Sounds like I missed a good time. I'd love to catch the next one.

Vacation started a day later and ran a day longer than I anticipated, also did not anticipate the New Hampshire State Police cruiser coming the other way while I was traveling at 55mph in a 40 zone. I was honest, he was nice, and I got a ticket for 50 in a 40. I drove a lot slower the rest of the way home, though.

I was on that race and GTP_Sphinx, GTP_MisterWeary & GTP_nd4holdenspd were not there. In fact the only ones there were GTP_2Fast4Stig, GTP_Jostheboss, GTP_Wayne and myself. I took a picture, these were the results (shown on a post I did before):

So seems to be that there were 2 races on 21:38 !!!, we were separated haha
