I haven't been able to find one but has anybody ever seen a 1:18 Panoz LMP-1 Roadster or LMP07?
To date, There haven't been any 1:18 Panoz LMP-1 Roadsters or LMP07. They've only been available as 1:43 and 1:64. There are a few 1:24s, but thats it.

Yea thats what I figured but people on here seem to find alot of things I haven't seen so I hoped there might be a chance.

It's best to just wait for the hobby version. AutoArt, like many diecast companies will release some models in car dealerships and the auto manufacturer's online store first, then release them at a slightly lower price to the normal hobby shops and such after a few months.

That's not entirely true. :)

First and foremost, all dealer editions are exclusive in one way or another; whether it's the livery or the available colours. For race cars, the dealer edition is typically a model of more significance; in the case of the Porsche Supercup VIP car, the dealer ed was more recognisable orange/silver livery as oppose to the lesser known green/livery hobby release. For street cars, it is typically the more preferred colour on the exterior; in the case of Mercedes' dealer ed, it's typically silver and the hobby release is anything but silver.

All models will get release as a hobby version sooner or later but that is all dependent on the manufacturer. For example, Autoart essentially released their hobby edition Porsche 911 RSR race cars (albeit from difference races) at the same time while Minichamps took two years before release their hobby release Mercedes SL-Class (and only in dark blue).

It would work out great if your preference the not align with the dealer ed, but if not, then chances are that you're stuck with paying more for the dealer ed now or pay for the hobby release which wasn't your first choice at a later date.

They are two superb Models Roo:tup:, i really love that Carbon Fiber on the GT test car:tup:, ive seen many 1:18 GT4 GT's, i really must get one.:) oh and by the way i love the 575 all round too:tup:

Well from what I hear about the RS Spyder the same exact model will indeed come out in hobby shops at a later date. Evidence of this lies in AA's on site. Normally they don't list dealer models in the product list, but with the RS Spyder they list the same exact model as what is arriving in Porsche dealers as we speak.

Roo, is the black Ford GT part of the game, or just a creation by AUTOart?

Congratulations on the beautiful models by the way. I have the white Ford GT LM myself and it's a true beauty. I just love the livery so much. How does the quality of the 575 compare to the 2 AA models? I'm waiting for the red 575 myself.

Here are a couple new pictures. Excuse the poor quality as I took them quick and used a crappy background. :indiff:

First off, the Ferrari 248 "Shanghai GP" version of Schumacher, his final win. This is with conversion to Marlboro. Took quite a bit of work. This is a nice model, has rain tyres and dirt wear and rain droplets on it. Hot Wheels still has a way to go to reach Minichamps in overall finish though, maybe they'll do better with the new "improved" 2007 releases. I recommend this model if you are a fan of Schumacher and you can find a reasonable deal on it. I got mine for 90 bucks.

Next up, the Ferrari 312T4 "US GP East" of Gilles Villeneuve. This recreates Villeneuve car from Watkins Glen GP, where he set a lap 11 seconds faster than his teammate who commented that his own lap was frighteningly quick (or something like that). Gilles went on to qualify 3rd or 2nd I believe behind John Watson and he (GV) won the race. This is a model by Exoto. Very expensive nowadays. A couple months ago (or last year), this model wasn't excessively expensive, but I didn't have the money for it. When I finally did get the money for it, the price it commands now are just crazy. I paid a lot of money for this, but I've trying to get this one so bad and I just got it finally. Now I will be waiting for the Ferrari 126 C2 ('82) to come out from Exoto. Even when it does come out, I figure I'll have to wait a year for Exoto to release a version I like.

Last is the Ferrari FXX. This is the "Scuderia Red" version with black rims by Hot Wheels Elite. I got this about 2 months ago, just never got around to taking pictures of it. It's a pretty nice model I'd say. Near AA quality. Good exterior finish, good engine detail, good interior detail. If only the other elites like F50 and Testarossa and 288 GTO were this quality as well. Instead they use old moulds based on Bburago models, meh.

It wasn't clear to me at first but I understand now that your post strictly referring to the RS Spyder; and it may very well be identical.

What I was trying to say in my reply is that most (not all as previously stated) are exclusive one way or another and that the uninformed shouldn't bet on the fact that there will always be a hobby release identical to the dealer edition.

Cheers.

That is indeed correct. The dealer edition version of my Minichamps Porsche 996 GT3 RSR was the original presentiation model, while hobby releases have been either red or yellow (so far), with racing versions on the way. The AutoArt 997 GT3 RS was released in two different colors from the current hobby releases aswell.

Any Ferrari enthusiasts here?

On August 24th, 2006, two gleaming examples of the new Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano began a historic long journey from Brazil that took them through 16 countries and across 20,000 miles (32,000 km) to New York, where they arrived on November 17th. A total of 50 different international journalists, each one representing the most important publications from all over the world, took turns behind the wheels of these two sports cars, during the 15-stage, 84-day tour.

We offer you two stunning handbuilt 2 foot long models of these very cars, one in dark blue with the Brazillian design on the hood, the other bright red with the American design.

Photos of each are below. Just 3 sets have been made, complete with case and cover, and just ONE set is left.
The price for this neat piece of Ferrari history is CAN$11 000 / US$10 500 / €7680 for the pair, or CAN$6500 / US$5750 / €4190 each. A few photos are below but many more are available, please enquire.

If you are a Ferrari 599 owner, enthusiast, or a dealer, imagine how cool these would look in your office, den, garage or showroom!

As usual other great items can be seen at http://www.collectorstudio.com/new.htm
The Schumacher FXX, I like. The 599s though, look great, but a tad bit pricey for me.

Well, 1/5 is about 3 feet long, so I'd say 1/8 is around 2 feet.

This is a 1/8th R8 LMP, so you can get idea of how big there are.

Woo! New purchase: a 1/18 AutoArt Bugatti Veyron, the first diecast model I've purchased since last summer's 1/18 AutoArt Porsche Carrera GT (also pictured). This model will sit on my desk at school all year and is the only indication of my obsession with cars, so it has to be both perfect in quality and representative of an incredibly ridiculous automobile, preferrably one that I've seen. Photos...

Note respective license plates.

I am considering painting the Veyron all black at some point to really represent the one I saw, but I'm holding off for now. I ordered it in black and blue and they called me to tell me they were out of that and I had to choose between silver (and white) or yellow and black. This was definitely the better color of all of them. So that's my contribution to the thread! :D

PS - thanks guys for talking me out of the overpriced Hot Wheels Ferrari Daytona Spider. Still haven't found one cheaper, but I can wait.

didnt they tell you that the real veyron is coming out in a couple of months?

its not really.....the aa veyron is one of the worst ive came across.

plus that ones based on the concept car :P and there never was a yellow/black one only red/black and the production ones are due out :P

He's not a hardcore collector, he just wanted a model Veyron, and now he's got one, so I doubt he cares. Don't ruin the illusion ;)

The production ones have been "due out" for over a year now, yet there's no photos of it and nowhere to be seen, so your whole "real veyron coming soon" is just something you made up since there's been no news of it. And I dont think you should be crapping like that over the guy's model. He likes it and that's what matters. I have one myself and I love it. Why you need to criticize the guy for it? Very rude of you IMHO.

not really? the production veyron is due out, theres been several pictures of them in diecast magazines in the uk and on other sites and has also been seen at fairs.he said he was offered the silver/pearl version which is one of the production ones but went with a fake concept one? for someone that would want a car just like the one they seen wouldnt you want to get one as close to that as possible? just like what i did with the 1/12 gallardo.

rude for stateing facts? not really
