Well, 1/18th scale is larger than 1/24th but the exact dimension will vary depending on the model. Basically, just multiply the actual dimension of vehicle by .18 for 1/18 or .24 for 1/24 and you will have your answer.

My newest arrival.

Err, actually, you want to divide by 18 or 24. Multiplying (say) 15 feet by .24 would give you 3.6 feet instead of the correct scaled size of 7 1/2 inches.

I think I will grab the Urracco Rally instead of the road version. Them wide tires are hot on it...
Anyway modded my Highway 61 Challenger SRT-8 a little...

You're correct, I don't know what I was thinking. :dunce:

We need to divide by 18. :)

I thought about getting the Urraco Rally but decided to get the original Urraco first.

Now if you like wide tires...

Here is my latest edition, CMC's, 1.700 parts counting Bugatti 57 Atlantic.

The best model of 2011 yet?
The best model up to date perhaps.....

I know, the worst pics ever, but soon I will shoot some without this terrible weather in the Netherlands.

Very nice looking cars Eric and rsh.
I've decided to order my first one from Modelissimo (Kyosho R8), waiting for a confirmation e-mail for paying instructions.

Has anyone else ordered from modelissimo.de yet?
I was supposed to get an e-mail but haven't received one yet, just wondering if it's usual for it to arrive later :)
You can't track your orders either so I'm hoping I did everything correct.

Did you receive a confirmation email from them with your order#? If you were able to create an account with them you should be able to see the order. You could always call them to see if they even received your order.

I didn't have to open an account. You could choose to pay forward to IBAN number, visa or send cash. I did the first.
Then I had to enter my name, adress, etc... And then I was supposed to get an e-mail with the account number to send the money to but didn't receive anything.

I would call them then to see if they even received your order.

I sent a mail via contact on their site and probably wait until monday. If no reply I will give them a call (with my rusty German speaking :P)

I just received these 2 a few minutes ago.

Sorry for the crappy iPhone pics.

Awesome. I am probably gonna have to get the 3.3L Turbo in black sometime soon. Either that or the 959...
Also a couple 1/43's arrived today. I'll get pics later...

I really want a 1/18 930, but in black, though I'd be OK with the one with the stripe in silver. I really like how the green one looks but I'm a bit more conservative with the Turbo 911s in general, I think dark colors are best suited for them. I might be picking up a matte black turbo 993 if I can get it for a small amount of cash

Just bought these 3 for just over $100 US, will be getting them in about a week.

I'm so glad that I picked up this pair of turbos, they look stunning. Autoart did a fantastic job modeling both of them.

It's made out of bass wood. The asphalt, bricks, and garage doors are just printed on paper. I scaled the brick pattern and garage doors down to 1:18th scale to look realistic. I used a spray adhesive to glue the paper to the bass wood.

The display is a couple years old now and the paper is starting to lift. I going to redo it at some point to rejuvenate it.

Those Turbo's look incredibly detailed.

@ Wyvern_64: very jealous of all 3 of those cars

There is someone that speaks Dutch at Modellismo 👍
One of the best online shops in Europe.

First of all, very nice Bugatti, the detail is stunning

And why I didn't get an answer from modelissimo turned out to be my own fault for mixing my new e-mail adress with my old one :dunce:
Ordered again today explaining my mistake and immediatly received response.

I'm not all that into models but I saw this the other day and though I'd pick it up. I've always liked the Martini livery on the Focus rally cars and thought it'd make a nice little decoration for my desk. It's the 1999 Swedish Rally car that was drive by Thomas Rådström and co-driven by Fred Gallagher, they came in 3rd place.
