Me too. I can only make those simpleton ones. The Maisto 1/24 Ferrari's. Pre-painted and undetailed plastic piece for engine. They are for utter simpletons. Like me.

 Yea same here, I would completely mess up the paint and glue and it would just be a mess.

Gained another BTCC car to not so much add to my collection as start it - I only had the Mondeo before, now I have a Laguna. Alfa 155 is next on the list, preferably Tarquini's car. Both are 94 cars, so far:

The Mondeo is Minichamps, the Laguna is Vitesse. Both 1/43. The Minichamps car is slightly better detailed and sits lower on its suspension, like the actual BTCC cars did. But the Laguna still looks great.

No, it's pretty bad actually. It's hard to get stuff in and out of the basement. But, we don't plan on stopping, we'll just move them to other place. My next addition is going to be a 1:18 Henri Toivonen 037 whenever I can find one.

I finally found this thread! Has anyone heard about the new Mclaren MP4-12C GT3 model being made in 1/43 ans 1/18? I'm so excited for it!

Collection where I see some interesting vehicles

I see you have a Norev RS Spyder. And a Scalextric MG Lola? And Maserati MC12, and another LMP I don't recognize. And a 1/43 MG Lola.

 I'd take a Henri Toivonen 037 any day!!!

I'd be scared to walk down those stairs for fear of breaking something lol

Especially if you're Jai.

How structurally sound are those stairs? I can just picture too many visitors spending too long of time on those stairs. It is just too much, and I adore it. When you have replaced the map with more cars, or cover the actual stairs with cars, I can upgrade this to "EPIC!". You are nearly there.👍

Maybe he should buy a car and put them in there. :sly:

Here's the 1/18 Minichamps Satoru Nakajima Lotus I mentioned few posts back. As far as I can tell, it is very rare. I've been trying to sell it(for way too much money :P ), and I couldn't even find another one for referencing price point.

How much are you asking for?

Way more than it's actually worth($200), but eBay lets me list it for free unless it actually sold, so..... I should list it lower next time, as the box actually has a big dent on a window!

That's a little steep. Why above the original price?
Yeah, I'm trying to cash-in based on the fact that: 1) It's rare. 2) eBay lets me list it for free.

As much as I love the car, and Satoru Nakajima, I'm not really a diecast collector. My entire diecast collection(not a whole lot) consists of impulse buys. :dopey:

What was the original price anyway? I got mine on eBay, but I can't even remember for how much.

How old is the model? I have a similar, but older Lotus also by Minichamps. Except it was driven by Ayrton Senna, which I paid around $80 USD for about 3 years ago. I'd imagine your Lotus had a similar list price, so figure around $100-120 USD is about what I'd imagine you could get for it. Although, you can probably find similar models on ebay or other sites, then list your price according to their prices.

I honestly can't remember when I got it. I would guess I got it somewhere around 6~9 years ago, used, from eBay. You can find the Senna model without too much trouble, but I couldn't find another Nakajima one for sale in 1/18 scale.

Looking at the top shelf there? We have two Norev Spyders, on is because it was cool, and the other is the Dyson because my dad used to work for Thetford, their main sponser for awhile. That also goes for the Lolas as well. The red car is a McLaren from the Can Am times and then there's a Porsche 917 in orange.

Toivonen is my favorite driver of all time, even though I didn't even live when he was alive. I have one of his 1:43 Rothmans Porsche around the cornercorner.

They're pretty goos, so far atleast. I think per year we gat about 20 people that look at the collection, we don't have a lot of people over. Although, the ones who look do wonder all around for awhile .

Screw you. Big envy, bud. BIG.

Oh, I have more around the corner. I'll get better shots tomorrow.

Nismo, you need to show us all what's around the corner. I noticed that there was more to be shown earlier. ;)

Nobody will answer my question. Is there a ALMS 458 Italia with the Tequila Patron livery? I can only find Risi Competizione...
