Thanks :)

Was he TWR XJ220 one off the GT cars?
5 homoligation road versions of the XJ220C race car were made and this model represents one of the 5. I know besides this green one there is a black one, silver one, and yellow one. Dunno what color the last one is...

Anyway ordered a couple more 1/43 models. One is a Spark 2010 Jaguar C-X75 concept and the other is a 1992 Porsche 966 LMP that raced at Sebring under the Brumos Porsche colors.

Can't remember the price, but I saw a couple of 1:43 scale Hot Wheel Ferrari Grand Prix models at Toys R Us. Are they still being made? I've been looking for scale models at retail stores, but I guess most companies just sell them online now? :(

Is that the Dauer from Spark?
That's a very nice model man!
Also very nice Nissan from Autoart next to it ;)

Indeed it is the Spark Dauer :D
And I wish AA would make the road version (both the 1997 and 1998) of the R390. Anyway more pics of the Dauer:

Very nice pictures Venom! Been looking through your collection throughout the thread and I have to say, it's amazing!

Toys R Us had these laying around on clearance for $5.98. Only four models left and for some reason I chose the rather unattractive Ferrari 612. What's left now is two 550 Barchettas and 328 GTS. Might go back for at least one more?

That Dauer really does look good.

Anyway, once again I'm buying a 1/43 car. But it's no LMP or GT car, it's a rally car. I'm buying a Minichamps Escort RS Cosworth rally car. It's only $25 so why not. Then I'll spend the last of my money on something. I don't know what but there is something I must buy.

Went out to walmart and found this:

Apparently it's a Limited Edition model. 7,500 made.

I'm a sucker for Vipers. :P I was also very tempted into buying the Shelby Cobra model. Maybe next time if it's still there.

Nice collection Venom, really loving those LMP/Group Cs and the 90's supercars scales you have. 👍

Medigo: Nice ZB Viper SRT-10. 👍

Now I need to find it as well, that matte paint makes it look real deadly, does ot have red stripes?

Buy me something.

Joking of course.

Indeed it does have a red stripe. Just like an ACR, even though it isn't.

I was looking at it again today and noticed that it has a pretty cool little detail on it. Not only does a sticker say its 1588/7500 but the license plate also contains the number of the vehicle! :dopey:

There's also a 240SX S14, Murcielago LP640, Ford GT, and Shelby Cobra that I'll try and get. That is, if they'll fit in one of my hiding spots. :scared:

I really miss retail stores carrying more scale models... I remember the old Walmart had tons of them including the model kits. These days, I only see Jada scale models on shelves at Walmart. Any retail stores that I might be able to find more scale models for a reasonable price these days?

Closest thing to a regular retail store I can think of with models is Hobby Lobby. Otherwise you are gonna have to find a local hobby shop or go online. Most regular stores just don't care about models anymore :(

Anyway a couple new additions...

Argh, that's very depressing. Looked up on the store locator and the closest one is in another state. I wish stores would carry them like the used to... I'd rather not go through the pain of purchasing online, especially when my parents wouldn't approve of it. :ouch:

Have to say those models look amazing! The color on the Jaguar really shines.

Quick pic of all of my 1/43 models:

^ Doing that with all my 1/18's in my apartment would require me to put them all on the living room floor lol...

Well, I can't wait to see this car then, gonna pick it up ASAP when I do. And they have a S14 240SX also?! Keep on bringing them out. :D:tup:

Thank goodness that a 1:24 cost less than $15 bucks. Though they are not like the 1:18 and the other bigger scales in detail, but they have some semi-realistic detail which is good for the price.

Yeah they don't sell all of the models in Walmart like they did back in the day :(. Just JT cars and maybe a 1:24 Maisto scale. I would recomend either a craft store, hobby shop or both for model cars. Even look in Target, Kmart and toy stores. They have a good selection, espically the toy stores in the malls.

@Venom: I have to do a Cano on you now........ YOU.....YOU......YOU.....AAAAARRRRreeeeaaaaggggghhhh!!!! :mad::crazy::lol:

McLaren F1, the 911 GT1's, and the Viper GTS and RT/10 are made by Minichamps
The F1 GTR and TS020 are made by Ixo
TWR XJ220S, CLR (not a CLK-GTR), and Zonda R are made by Spark
MR2 and Supra RZ are made by Ebbro
Lancer Evo 7 and Viper Competition Coupe (not a GTS-R) are made by AUTOart
R390 GT1 is made by Onyx

And here are more pics of the Porsche 966, Jag C-X75, and Jag XJ220S:

Thanks for the manufactuer's names. Did you buy them online or from a store? Because I usually find 1:32-1:43s in vendor booths or stores that sell model cars mainly at fashion malls.

That's where I got my BMW M3 GTR E46 from. And they carry alot of hard to find cars in these places.

All of my 1/43 models I bought online. Most of my 1/18 models were also bought online also. Only hobby shops tend to sell 1/43 and 1/18 models these days, and even all hobby shops don't sell them.

Yeah, it's hard finding any of the 1:43s in stores and if they do it's usually a Maisto or a unknown brand. I find them mostly in fashion malls in the side vendors selling them or in stores that only sell scale cars. I'll check online though.

By the way, what hobby stores do you go to get them? I only heard of Hobby Town USA.

Most of the 1/18's I bought in a store were at a hobby shop in a local mall back when I lived in California. That hobby shop long since closed, so since then, I have only bought my models online.

Anyway less talk, more pics:
