Nice! I'll look for some spark models.
MedigoFlameI didn't know the Impreza bugeye and RSX Type-R were rare! They've been left out to be all dusty... They used to be my friend's, but he's not a big fan of Japanese cars so he gave them to me for free, but missing some of the add-on parts. (Places them in glass cabinet) I believe the C-West RX-7 is from Hot Wheels, says so on the car. >_> And the MKIV Supra, RX-7, C-Class, and 3-Series for some reason don't have any name of the manufacture on them at all. They were also handed to me for free from my friend. In the past he was a pretty big collector, but times have changed since we got older. The Ferrari's were a part of this "build it yourself" kind of small kit. Came with a mini screw and two wheel options. My brother and I used to go out and buy them from Walmart for quite a while before he went off to college. I wish they still made them...
Speaking of Maisto, forgot to add this bugeye rollback Impreza!
a6m5I have the autoart GT One, but I don't think the detail of the engine is even comparable to the R390. I love my GT One, but completely outclassed.
edit: I just looked at mine, it wasn't as bad as I remembered. Still not as good as the R390 in Venom's pic.
How cool is that. 👍 If I was in the hobby, I'd have to have the Ghostbusters & A-Team, also.
Yep, the GDB-1 WRX and DC5 are a rare Masito scale series, they also have a exclusive Honda S2K as well, but he's mostly not for sale in North America though.
Woah I didn't know that Hot Wheels make model car scales tuners! Hot Wheels do make 1:18 cars, but they are usually not modified or they are race cars. I have a 1:18 Porsche 911 GT3 (996) from HW and that's was hard to find, and don't get me started on the TVR Speed 12 they made. So, you have another rare car also.
Is that F50 part of Maisto Assembely Line Series? I seen the F50 and the Roadster F50 as a 1:18 scale model on the website before.
I have a WRX bugeye myself, as a 1:24 model I built when I was 11 years old. Still got him in good condition.
MedigoFlameHere's a picture of the 1:43 scale RX-7 from Hot Wheels:
The F50 was a part of the assembly line kits. I really do miss these...
Sad to say that nearly all of my scale models are basically free gifts from a friend. (Aka, handed down) Parents never really let me get the larger scale models as a kid. Mainly because as a kid I ruined my old maroon 1:18 Maisto BMW 850i... Punching myself for absolutely destroying it as a kid.
This is probably my rarest model. Its a Ford XM Falcon Wagon. It was given to me by my mum's uncle who used to work building the real car. Ive been told it is a demo model that the dealers used in the showrooms. All my other cars are still packed away in boxes after the move and will probably stay that way for a while as I dont have any room to get them out in this house
Where did you get that 993 GT2 scale from? And who makes it? I love it 👍
Awesome, Ben. Those dealer demo cars are always very very rare to come by, much less with a history like yours. Very cool.
motortrendIt's made by UT models, it was discontinued more than 10 years ago so your best bet is ebay. Expect to pay ~150 for a good one. I got this one for half that much since the windows are a little fogged up and the top part of the wing was replaced with the one you see, but to me it was well worth saving the money. The model has very good quality, especially for the time it was built. You won't get as much detail as some other, newer models in the same price range but it's definitely better than the anson 993 turbo that is also in the picture awaiting a repaint
EDIT: If you can, get this one, it's at a fantastic price for the condition it's in and it even comes with a display case

If that one had been for sale when I got mine I would have gotten it instead
C6.Roh finally a modelcar thread
I mainly collect Autoart Corvette's.
But wat I wanted to say is;
according to insiders Autoart is developing a Redbull X1 (X2010) in 1:18 scale
there weren't any mentions about multiple colours only the Redbull livery.
I only worry about one thing : the price
VspecZR1GT2RS89Really?!?!
A Redbull X1!!!!
I'll take a look on the info later then. But yep, AutoArt's race cars( LMPs/Group Cs, JGTC/Super GTs, DTMs, Rally cars etc.) are the most expensive scales that they make. The road cars are cheaper than the racers.
Love to buy it, but I have to see the price.
This. It will probably be something ridiculous like $500 usd like the AutoArt 787B.
