That's all the photos I have lying around that I can edit (well actually, each car has a couple of photos, but I don't want to be redundant) for now. Hopefully I'll be able to take some new pictures of some new cars this weekend.

That Alfa is very cool, but the prices, yes... That's why I stick to plastic kits.

But at 70 - 90 bucks a pop I just can't do it!

I LOVE that 70's Lincoln Mark. One of the earliest diecast I ever owned was a little Tomica of that car, so I have a soft spot for that one.

Yes, 1:43. The saddest part is that's the only place to get a scale model of a lot of those cars.

It'd be so easy to blow thousands and thousands on 1:43s. Octane Magazine always has a model car section with a whole bunch of 1:43s, most of which are small-batch handbuilt stuff, and are several hundred bucks a pop. Some unbelievably cool cars in there, though.

Ugh, I want to go to my Walgreens badly. But I get a feeling that they won't sell it there. I know Rite Aid has 1:24 scale Maisto and MotorMax... My Walgreens never sold Hot Wheels, so I have doubts on them selling scale models. Were they loose on a little display shelf and where were they located? Might peek in my local store to see...

Lucky... Our Rite Aids (both towns I've looked into) haven't updated their stock in...a year? When I found my 1:24 scale Maisto GT-R, it was covered in so much dust... Everything on the shelf was covered in dust. As for the one closer to my house, that was just about the same. Models with missing parts, covered in dust, and scratches all over. Wonder if there might be anything I can get out of asking an employee if they had anything newer...

I wouldn't mind seeing the stock of your store. Of course, it'll just end up to be some jelly. (Spottings: GT3 RS, SL, Shelby Cobra, two Gallardos, and...can't tell what's next to the Aston and under the Gallardos.) Want to go to my stores so badly, I want more scale models in my collection... But stupid retail stores have given up and just about everything's online for scale models now...

Probably because there are collectors in California... Though it's the "cheap" stuff, I still enjoy being able to get an affordable scale model. Want that AMV12... At one of the Rite Aids, the store clerk actually laughed at me when she saw me walk up to the counter with a couple models...

wow. Well kids aren't going to get them,unless they're filthy rich and want to spend $60 on 6 cars and have them broken
